This trail is very scenic and very easy. Bring a torch as it will be very useful. Great opportunities for nice pics.

Good trail to see the waterfalls and natural scenery, not too tiring as well. It ended with the water curtain cave, which is a must-go too. Takes about 2.5 hours to and fro.

Baiyang waterfall trail is a slightly challenging trail, all the way up to the end where it turns into a very challenging trail. You have to get to Tiansiang, which isn't very far from a bus stop. From there, you can either drive or walk 1km up to the trail.Under any circumstances, don't forget to bring a disposable raincoat (the ones at 7-11 are great and also cheap) and a flashlight. You walk about 2km until you get to the actual waterfall-cave, and the walk is awesome and terrifying at the same time. You get a great view of cliffs and valleys, and you have to go through quite a few caves/tunnels. When you get to the water-cave, be sure to take off your shoes and socks and put on your raincoat - inside is like eternal rain and quite slippery. All in all, this is one of the most gorgeous places I have ever visited, this is an absolute must!

Beautiful scenery, scary 吊桥 at 白杨瀑布 waterfalls. The bai yang trail leads to jiuliandong 九帘洞 water curtain cave. Nice walking trail be sure to bring along torchlight or use mobile phone torchlight, trail takes about 2-3 hrs depending how fast walking.

Entrance to this place is a tunnel opening along the Central Cross-Island Highway. total return journey is 4 km and can be completed in 1 1/2 hours, depending on how you do it. Along the trail are 7 tunnels which are not lit and do bring your torch light if you are uncomfortable with the darkness. Also, do wear thick-soled rubber shoes as the path is laden with pebbles and tiny stones. Do not wear your expensive fashionable shoes here as the path is uneven and watery. After the sixth tunnel, you will see the beautiful Baiyang waterfall with the suspension bridge in the foreground. The last part of the trail is the Water Curtain. Do bring your rain coat if you want to experience it, created by water falling from the tunnel roof

To get to this trail, you'll have to drive all the way to Tiansiang (where the Silk palace Hotel is located) and drive a but up around 1 km. The entrance to the trail is at the tunnel. After driving pass tunnel, there is a parking area on the right. The entrance to the trail itself is a tunnel where you have to walk pass. It wasn't very dark but it was somewhat wet, but we get through anyway. It was an pleasant walk (not too much hiking), and the view along was breathtaking. You will pass through many tunnels along your trail. Just enjoy the nature and the view. It was amazing and I glad I did this trail.

Great trail. When I was here back in 2012 this trail was closed due to typhoon damage. The entrance is most unique - a 380 meter-long tunnel within a vehicular tunnel. The trail is flat and wide - suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. There are 8 tunnels along the trail - some are long and quite dark - a flashlight is recommended. Plan on a 2-2.5 hour round-trip.
