Pristine private beach with good snorkeling right off the beach. Water color and view of islands across the channel are stunning

We sailed to here on a catamaran from St. Thomas. We got to snorkel in the beautiful clear water for about an hour. Saw lots of colorful fish, several rays and lots of spiny sea urchins. I didn't see any turtles, but others in our group did.I would love to come back here and spend lots more time.

Nice little beach, but gets exposed more than some of the others on this part of the island. Beautiful, as expected and hardly ever crowded. Better snorkeling at Scott Beach or Hawksnest Beach, but can you really go wrong?!

Perfect Beach. Great views of boats all day long. Great Snorkeling and never crowded. We loved this beach.

Sandy in the center with good snorkeling on both sides. Perhaps because it is at the tip of the resort, it was never crowded. From the beach you can watch boat traffic to the BVI.

Turtle Bay, NOT Trunk Bay is the most beautiful beach on St. John (if not the world.) The problem is that you need to be staying at Caneel Bay to enjoy it, unless you visit by boat! The views are just breath-taking

This perfect slice of sand is the best at Caneel. The water is unbelievably clear due to the constant tide. The inter-island ferry's pass by and create good waves throughout the day. Never crowded or loud.....perfect relaxation. Need to stay at Caneel to access.

Liked the serenity of this beach, but the waves and undertow were a bit more than other beaches on the property.

Fifteen minute drive from the ferry, superb sand, fantastic snorkeling, clean showers, what else do you need. The only caveat is to try to get there early before the cruise ships bring a 100 or so people. Even if they do if you swim 30 feet out you are still in an uncrowded area and there are plenty of fish and other sea life to see. It is a national park so there is a small fee per person. There is free parking by the beach entrance

Incredibly private. We spent an entire day here and only saw one other couple the whole day. View was amazing. Same velvety sand and perfectly shady beach trees. Nice snorkeling.

This Beach is Amazingly Beautiful. The water is crystal clear and the sand is fine white. The National Park area of this beach is very nice and clean. Beautiful underwater plants and sea life. Totally go if you are in the area. We were staying at Bolongo Bay in St Thomas

Loved it here. Loved it was private for Caneel Bay guests. Saw sting rays, colorful fish and lots of plant life

This beach is SO beautiful. The sand is gorgeous and the waves are the highest on it's shore, which affords the only body surfing available at the Caneeel resort.

Turtle Bay has been a famous underwater guided snorkel for many years. My husband and I were dismayed to see the change here since our last visit 11 years ago. The coral here is so badly damaged, and the fish are not nearly as numerous as before. If you want to see beautiful coral, and are a fair swimmer, hike the Leinster Bay trail and snorkel around WaterLemon Cay...amazing coral and life there.

If the water isn't enough for youIf the wonderful snorkeling and fish isn't enough for youLet's throw in some sea turtles and see if it doesn't define paradise. It truly it!
