We visited the Glengarry Pioneer Museum for their Annual Fall Fair, where artisans that made their items in traditional ways (such as home-made soaps, blacksmithed forged iron, weavers and knitters, shared space with farm animal displays, farm equipment demonstrations, all amongst the pioneer buildings filled with artefacts and furniture. This museum is entirely run by volunteers and asks a modest $5 entry fee to help with upkeep. There was much to see and we plan to return since we ran out of time.Apparently, their recreation of the War of 1812 with re-enactors camping on the pioneer museum grounds as in the 1812 era, is a must-see also.
