我们那天早上很早就到了,结果受到了店家人热情的欢迎。我们选了价格10美金的品酒,中间有六种红酒加小吃和水。一边品尝,一边看递到手上的关于每种酒品性的详细介绍,读起来饶有趣味。我们坐在户外,能欣赏庄园的优美风景,享受晴朗的天气。最后我们买了三瓶红酒,感觉不枉此行。绝对值得一去。

酒庄非常棒,气氛很友好、温馨,葡萄酒很美味(特别是红酒,有很多种类)。葡萄酒的价格有点贵,但是品尝是免费的。

We shared two tasting flights each; selected differently and sampled over lunch with two of the famous pies. Service was amiable and efficient. Several Forrest wines already known due to the Adnams connection but great to try some of those not shipped abroad such as a St Laurent - a steal at $20. A worthy stop on the so called golden mile.

The lady was superb that ran the tastings, very helpful and even reccomended other vineyards that we might like. Will be ordering some of the doctors riesling online- delicious!

I've long been a fan of Forrest wines, particularly their rieslings and gewürztraminer. It was a treat to finally visit the cellar door.I love their wine tasting platter idea and even more so that the taster can chose their own wines. At $7, it is very reasonably priced.The grounds are family friendly so perfect when travelling with little ones, but also loads of room for those not keen on kids to have their own space.I liked that you could order a single cheese (or more) - if I was to be very picky, the only issue is that the cheese is served very fridge cold. But, hard to overcome that when punters pick their own cheese.Friendly staff, well priced wines. A great day out.

We had a stop here on our tour of some of the best wineries in the Marlborough region. We visited Forrest on the 2nd of January and were immediately impressed by the beautiful grounds & tasting room. The wine was fine, but unfortunately our lasting impression was of the unusual service we received. Our host complained about a number of things, including: her marriage, not being able to take a break and having too many visitors. Needless to say, we didn't feel very welcome.

Thank you taking the time to review and give us feedback. I am sorry the wines were not to your liking. We do not have a Cafe and do not advertise one but we offer simple self service cheese and anti pasto platters and Gourmet Burleigh pies over the day just as simple snack foods for those who prefer to have some simple food to enhance the tasting experience. We also try to roster wine knowledgeable staff on he Cellardoor but if we are busy they may not have been able to attend easily to everyone's questions in the same depth as we normally aspire. I do trust that you found some great Marlborough wines on your travels. Brigid Forrest.

Oustanding wine, namely the savignon blanc and reisling! Great service, exceptional knowledge. And who knew that a meat pie could be so mouth watering. A great stop on our wine tour!

We happened to arrive when a Tour was in progress so were unable to make the best of our visit. However the host was pleasant and we did manage to taste wines. We were a little disappointed that there was no café for food.

We visited Forrest on a self guided bike tour. It was our first cellar door so we did not know what to expect. Beautiful gardens & cellar door in the middle if the vineyard away from the road (as we later discovered a gem)Our daughter enjoyed playing some ball games. Perfect & friendly service. We did not eat there but later regretted this ax the choice was excellent - gourmet pies & platters. Highly recommended.

Small enough to feel personal, but run like a slick business. Great wine tasting, with the general manager able to tell us our nearest stockist in Europe! Lovely outdoor area, and the best wine's I've tasted round here.
