Beautiful views of the coast while tasting some lovely wines. It states there is a fee payable but think this is only if you don't buy. Would recommend a visit if your planning a tour of the area.

Celebrating a 50th birthday. What a stunning view and the food was perfect. I always worry about the view hiding the food but on this occasion the food, wine, service and view was amazing.Dined at the restaurant, not the "house" and so not disappointed. Great Sunday Lunch.....

In the amazing grounds that surround the Jack Rabbit Winery looking out over the bay we had had an equally incredible lunch. Dining on the Beef and Bacon Pie with a delicate crispy pie crust and the succulent chicken breast with an Italian style salad these choices were filling and beautifully presented. The prices are excellent, the wines and ciders to die for. A must see for locals and visitors.

What a beautiful spot for any occasion. It you're looking for a wedding venue, a birthday, anniversary or just a great meal, lovely wine and an awesome outlook this is the place to be. The cafe is fantastic or if you're looking for something a bit more upmarket try the restaurant. There is lots of space for kids outside, the only tiny problem people might have is it can be a little loud inside on the wooden floors, so if your are looking for a quiet romantic spot you may be disappointed. There is lots to see down this way with other wineries and olive groves so why not take a road trip, with a designated driver, and check it out.

This is an upmarket venue and it is a delight to visit Whether in the wine tasting room and restaurant or main restaurant the meals are just wonderful. Not large but very well done and presentation is good. Pricey but worth the cost. The wines are good. Only had a red but was excellent. The view over the bay is lovely to look at even on a dark and misty day. Was a little noisey but acceptable. Staff were busy but attentive enough. Would go again.Excellent venue for lunch after a bay-side drive.

Amazing winery, modern funky building with a beautiful deck across the front that has amazing views across the water and just a short drive from Geelong. Wine tasting is a must, $5 but refunded if you purchase a bottle, good selection to choose from, prefer the whites. Food available on the menu was extensive and very well priced. There is a separate restaurant open for dinner each night also with great views. Definitely a must if you are travelling g through the Bellarine area.

After waiting a couple of months, we were finally able to get a reservation in the restaurant for a Sunday lunch. In no time at all, the place was almost completely full. After eating there, I now know why.My husband & I had a fantastic 3 course lunch. The food is beautiful. We tried both of their sparkling's as well as the merlot & Pinot Grigio. All were great. We then purchased a tomato relish & lemon myrtle infused olive oil from their lovely gift shop. There is also a cafe for a more relaxed setting. Both places offer great food with breath taking views. This place really has a special feel about it. All the staff were very professional. We will definitely be back.

Wow great fun and informed staff. Had an enjoyable tasting and a few laughs with the fabulous staff. Three of us with very different preferences all left happy and each managed to find a couple of favorites to take home. The veiws, seating and atmosphere were all exceptional, the only fault I could find being not enough seating.

We attended a 60th birthday here and could see why that arrangement had been made. In all the event was a festive and happy occasion with the management clearly coping with the 50 or so guests. Food was tasty and the wines memorable. The view is just amazing.Would really recommend this place.

I had dinner here in the restaurant with a girlfriend as a pre christmas catch up. When I made the booking they pre warned me that they had 2 big groups in for functions that night so service may be a little slower, service was timely and not an issue. The 2 groups that were in were indeed noisy and due to the acoustics of the room I spent a large portion of the night yelling at my friend! We shared the pork belly entree, delicious, couldn't fault it. For main my friend had steak ordered medium, it was really more well done but it was a lovely cut of meat so was still tender and moist. I had the walnut gnocchi with zucchini flowers delicious, I could have licked the plate. We shared the dessert tasting plate, it was a real let down, the cherry ice cream tasted like childrens panadol! The shiraz truffle had chunks of marie biscuit in it and the salted caramal tart had no salt. This wouldnt stop me from going back entree and main were lovely, generous and great flavours! The wine was great the blanc de blanc and pinot noir enjoyed by both of us. Service was good but a little inconsistent it would have been nice to have the same waitress but I think they all either served or removed something from our table throughout the night.Due to the noise we finished our coffees on the deck and enjoyed the view, two of the waiters came out to apologize for the noise which really wasnt necessary. All in all a lovely experience and I will be back to visit hopefully next time I wont have to shout!

We arrived and were faced with 2 restaurant possibilities, so we chose the right hand, smarter option. The waiter completely ignored us as we entered and waited....and waited. He passed us several times and continued to completely ignore us so we we walked out. The restaurant was less than a third full. The more casual (left side) option was wonderful. Great food, friendly service and super setting.

We are locals (as in we have a holiday house in Port) and love new additions to in Port. When this was taken over and turned into Jack Rabbit, we were happy to see something new in the Bellarine. The new owners have renovated it and have lovely food. The view is to die for. I have to admit, the wine is not amazing, but nice. The staff in the wine cellar....have to go. We went in one lunch just to try some wine and have some nibbles. I was wearing a black tracksuit but I was quite presentable. The lady looked me up and down and said they had no space. We looked around and there were 5 empty tables. We asked about the empty tables and she gave us the most inappropriate response. I used to love Jack Rabbit because of the view and food, but after that experience we have not been back at all, and we used to be regulars. The old blonde with the bob in the wine tasting area is ruining that place. I have been going to Terindah instead and love it there! What pity, a beautiful place ruined for me but a rude employee.
