Recommending this to everybody! An eye opening experience about our amazing universe and it's hidden treasures.Phil is so passionate and brings his incredible knowledge about our universe in such great and humorous way! Anytime again. Absolutely brilliant, knowledgeable and awareness raising!!

Phil has immense knowledge and a fun way of sharing it. This made our journey through space and time that much more awesome. The stars, constellations and the birth place of the sun were all amazing visual extravaganzas that our small group of friends will remember forever and then some. We did the tour in Whiteman's park and cannot wait to do the same in Karijini.

Our astro session was 25mins north of perth at a perfect location, close enough to the city to be accessible but far away to see the night sky..It was the perfect end to our three week trip around WA, just before we flew out that night, we were treated to a wonderful night, exploring constellations, history, mathematics of distances and size and even humour! After looking up and wondering i feel like we walking away knowing... Thank you so much Phill from Remtrek, what a ripper of an astro tour :)

Altitude and being away from sea haze and humudity and bright lights of civilisation helps good astronomy.Karijini is about as good as it gets. A superb outing and very humbling to see other worlds from a majestic location such as Karijini.

Phill has done two astronomy nights in Wongan Hills and both nights were awesome with amazing skies and excellent information on what is out there. We had telescopes and got to view some of the planets and much more. We have another evening planned weather permitting at the Wongan Hills Reynoldson Reserve Festival Saturday 9th November 2013, can't wait to see what Phill has to show us in the night skies.

Certainly puts another perspective to the phrase "stars in your eyes". My evening ended with the icing on the cake with a spectacular array of something magical and unforgettable. Presented by the informative, knowledgeable, prestigious and very passionate with the constellation of stars, solar systems and planets, historicals and legends of the fascinating skies and beyond; Mr Phill. You certainly added to my basket of knowledge with similarities in cultural aspects that one can thrive on. Reignited the spark to research more. The tour will exceed your expectations and way exceeds a 5 star hotel (I kid you not). Top guy, top show. I depart with a very fitting whakatauki (proverb) for a very fitting person 'tena nga kanohi, kua tikona e Matariki' 'here are eyes affected by Matariki'. (Matariki is the name of a distinctive star cluster celebrated through the month of June in NZ). Nga mihi atu e Whetu (thank you Star). Bernice

Two adults and two children were so fortunate to have Phill all to ourselves for the astronomy tour at Karijini. We have been away for over 2 months and had many amazing experiences and built lifetime memories - this will indeed be one of them. Phill was so knowledgeable - all four of us hammered him with questions and he patiently and completely answered every one. He was such a delight - and the tour was amazing. Saturn - and the MOON! Just remarkable, awe inspiring and entirely memorable. Thanks Phill, we've been talking about you every night since when we look up at this beautiful sky of ours. Cheers.

On a recent trip to Karijini with mine and two other families, we were lucky enough to secure a place on the Remtrek Astronomy Tour. This was an absolutely amazing experience. The information given and the opportunity to view far distant objects was mind blowing and humbling.Phil has this tour all covered and imparted information in such a way that we will never forget what he told us about the planets, stars and solar systems. Sizes, distances, the history of discovery and any correlation to astrology was covered. The telescopes were first class and catered for people of all heights and visual acuity. Our family still talks about this night as one of the best things we have done for year. Congratulations Phil on a great execution of a fantastic idea.Ron Stuurstraat Darlington W.A.

After a recent trip to Karijini it is only rite to leave this review after the Excellent experience Remtrek delivered on the Astronomy Tour. The night sky is amazing in itself but to learn so much about it as well as see the incredible sights through the telescopes is just AMAZING!Phill that ran our tour was everything you could ask for in a guide, polite, funny and most of all Extremely knowledgeable. Phill delivers the entire show in a light hearted yet very informative way that appeals to all ages.Excellent all round and 100% recommend to others!

The time under the stars with Phill has proven unforgettable, even a year later. If you are going to be in Karigini at night, you shouldn't miss the opportunity to travel light years away with Phill's knowledge and entertainment. My kids, 10 and 12 at the time, are still talking about it. Other reviewers on here have already captured the evening well so I'll just add my encouragement to anyone who is considering this tour. P.S., we are not "tour" people which, I realize, means we probably miss out on some amazing things. This is one tour I'm glad I didn't miss!

We were picked up by Phil in the magical mystery bus for the short trip to the hill. Phil is entertaining and clearly besotted with the stars and our universe, which he easily infected us all with. We had a fantastic time learning new things, asking questions, having a laugh, all whilst watching amazing sights through the telescope and with the naked eye.Educational, entertaining and makes you feel like a child again, thinking - is there anybody out there?Best money ever spent. Thanks Phil.

My family of four with boys aged 8 and 10 years were left gobsmacked by this beautiful experience. I have tried for a while to get my boys interested in the stars but the lack of background light (from the city) combined with Phil's amazing commentary and 3 scopes brings the universe alive. It's a great thing to do early in your stay at the eco resort so you can enjoy the stars for the rest or your visit (remember to dress warm). It leaves you thinking about the big picture for a few days!

A wonderful evening in Karajini gazing into the unforgetable star scape. Really well set up on a beautiful hill top in the Eco Retreat, host Phil takes you on a two hour tour of the amazing skies of the north west. He provided an entertaining and very informative tour using a lazer pointer along with some huge telescopes. Very glad I did not skip this part of Karajini- the skies and the presetation are both literally brilliant! Wear warm clothes and prepare to be amazed. Probly not suited for kids under 8 years. Need to book during school hols as it is very popular (can book from Eco Retreat reception).

This astronomy tour is not only educational, but entertaining as well. Phil has three telescopes for viewing which enables everyone plenty of time to see the various objects he points out. We the Milky Way, Saturn, a globular cluster, other stars right up close. We learned many new things and were reminded of decades long forgotten ones. The night sky looks a bit different to us now. Karijini is a perfect place for this viewing and Phil really shows his enthusiasm throughout the two hours.
