Where else can you find a fully functional windmill from 1877? I was blown away by the experience. The windmill stopped producing flour as the upkeep of the process was too expensive BUT the windmill still works and produces electricity for the nearby house. You can go inside (20DK) and see the machinery with your own eyes. Second and third floor also accessible. There is also a souvenir shop with a really cosy gallery/cafe upstairs. I really, really recommend visiting this place.

This is only working and best preserved mill on Bornholm - other ones doesn't rotate anymore. We enjoyed it and felt like many years ago, without electricity and cars.You can also buy nice souvenirs from Bornholm here.

Przepięknie zachowany młyn. Możliwość zwiedzania w środku za opłatą. Tuż obok znajduje się sklepik z pamiątkami i kartkami (tu znaleźliśmy najładniejsze pocztówki na całej wyspie). Dodatkowo malowniczo położony, na tele morza i rozległych pól, jadąc w kierunku Paradisbekkerne.

Ein Besuch in der Werkstatt an der Mühle in Årsdale ist ein gute Gelegenheit Schmuck und Kunsthandwerk einzukaufen. Der Werkstatt ist direkt im Verkaufsraum. Die Beratung ist freundlich und kompetent. Die Preise den Leistungen angemessen.Nach dem Einkauf, ist eine Erfrischung zu Tönen dem Schlag der Mühlenflügel im Garten angenehm.
