Nice place to visit if you are in Luts'k.The entrance looks amazing and inside you can find lots of interesting places to visit - including The Museum of Books and the exhibition of bells. Near the castle is a nice restaurant.

Prince Lubart at 1340 began the building of the fortress, he wanted to become king. Absolutely amazing! The cobblestone entrance intrigue me! Just to think of the people in the past entering the castle in all its grandeur captured my attention! As one stnads in awe in many areas inside the castle walls, one can only imagine life during the days when royalty lived here. Nothing compares to the 'hands on' experience you have when you visit here. Words fail me to describe my feelings as I wandered around the grounds, sttod high on the lkout points, viewed the beels in the Bell Tower. This IS a must to see when you visit Lutsk.This castle is in the Old City so that means there are many other very interesting spots to enjoy while here! Days are what one needs to truly enjoy walking these streets!

Lubart's Castle is one of the oldest castles in Ukraine. It even appears on the Ukrainian 200 hryvnias bill. The entrance fee is really low, something about 1-2 euro (without a guide).Inside you could find The Museum of Books, the small underground church, exhibition of old bells and a lot of other interesting places.There are sometimes different festivals there (usually spring-summer) and you have a chance to see the bugurts from different clubs and countries imitating old battles. During these festivals you can also try archery, see old dances and experience medieval time at all.Highly recommend ot.

Though when you initially go in, it doesn't look like there is going to much there, there are quite a number of exhibits. The remains of the first brick Orthodox Church are interesting and the extra you have to pay to get the commentary by the resident archeologist is definitely worth it.There could have been more things available in English and other languages. Even so, easily spent half a day there.Also, one of the museums inside was closed for cleaning, so missed out on the armour etc.

This castle has won the competition "7 Wonders of Ukraine." it was built in the 14th century Lithuanian prince Lubart. on the territory of the castle there are 3 of the museum: "The Museum of the book", "Museum of Bells," "Art Museum". you have to necessarily take a video camera. under the castle is the cave. to tour there you need comfortable shoes. Tickets cost about $ 2.

Замок выглядит впечатляюще, аккуратно, но довольно маленький. Мы были с экскурсией минут 45, а если бы ходили сами - 15 минут хватило бы, чтобы обойти. Поэтому советую: берите экскурсовода.

Чудесное место, которое поражает своим ухожаным состоянием. Очень понравился вид со ставен смотровой башни, тюрьма, печатный станок и местный жирный кот.

Наконец то в октябре месяце посетил замок и я, хотя когда в нем был, наверное в году 1974г. Входной билет чисто символический-10 грн. Нужно сказать, что он за эти годы изменился в лучшую сторону. Сделана часть реконструкции. При посещении обязательна экскурсия. Мы пришли около 17 час. и нам сказали, что экскурсоводов уже нет. Посчастливилось "упасть на хвост" предыдущей группе и послушать конец ее - в музее колоколов. Интересная коллекция, даже дали позвонить. :) Во дворе замка имеется звоница, из 9 колоколов. Разговорились со звонарем Леонидом. Очень приятный человек, уже уходил домой, но открыл звоницу и провел маленькую экскурсию.Очень много интересного рассказал про колокола, про звонарей. Дал нам маленький урок звонарского искусства. Впечатлило. Заслуживает посещения однозначно.

В замке прекрасная картинная галерея, музей книги . Лучший в Украине музей колоколов. С высоты стен замка открывается вид на город Луцк.

Посетили замок семьей,очень понравилось,особенно детям. Настоящий замок сохранившийся до наших времен,на территории несколько музеев,незабываемые впечатления от прогулки по настоящим крепостным стенам.

Ho visitato questo castello lo scorso 21 agosto, nel corso di un tour in Ucraina occidentale alla scoperta delle numerose fortezze (o di quel che ne resta) della zona. Il castello non è grandissimo, ma il suo stato di conservazione, la pulizia e la cura con cui è tenuto sono degni di nota. Si tratta di una fortezza del XIV secolo (la cui costruzione avvenne ad opera di Lubarts, che all'epoca regnava nella regione della Galizia) con tre torri, rimaneggiata poi in epoche successive. Una volta entrati si può costeggiare la sommità delle mura grazie ad un camminamento interno di legno, godendo di una piacevole vista sulle zone circostanti. All'interno del perimetro trovano posto alcune armi di epoca medioevale, una piccola scacchiera con pezzi di legno di dimensioni quasi umane, una piccola pinacoteca (con ingresso da pagare a parte) ottimamente tenuta, un piccolo museo della stampa e un altro piccolo museo delle campane. Senza dubbio si tratta dell'elemento di maggiore richiamo turistico della città e merita decisamente la visita.

Красивый, хорошо сохранившийся замок с несколькими тематическими музеями: колоколов, старинной книги, живописи. Здесь можно походить по крепостным стенам - очень впечатляет. Одно дело смотреть снизу со двора замка на башни и стены и совсем другая картина открывается с крепостной стены на двор. Обязательно заберитесь.

Прекрасный средневековый замок, где был сьезд европейских монархов в 1429 году. Замок из 3-х башен находится на возвышености, и когда-то был окружен водой реки Стырь, а значит хорошо защищаемым. Он пережил не одну осаду татар, поляков и даже князя Юрия Долгорукого. В замке есть внутренний дворик, "дворянски домик" (музей старинных книг)арсенал, музей колоколов в башне, замковая темница, остатки церкви Иоанна Богослова XII столетия. Можна поднятся на стены, на главную башню, откуда открывается невероятный вид на весь город Луцк. В замке регулярно проводятся рицарские турниры, словно 600 лет назад. Возле замка есть ресторан "Корона Витовта" , где можна перекусить и отдохнуть.
