I went to Thanasis farm with my family. The people are very friendly. The farm is authentic and the ride is beautiful, nice for both those who feel confortable on a horse and those who don't. I strongly recommend this walk. A bit expensive but definitively worth it!

We went on the morning trail ride that lasted about 2.5 hours. I am not very comfortable on horseback so I was a little nervous. But I had no reason to be. The horses were great! Well trained and calm. At one point a larger rock fell under my horses feet and she stayed calm and kept walking. The companionship between the horse and the instructors was very solid. It was unforgettable to swim in the sea with the horses. I recommend this to everyone. Even if you aren't very comfortable with horses. It is an experience you will not forget. One thing I regret is not having a camera for pictures while swimming. It would be a priceless picture!

It was a nice surprise to do the 2,5 hours excursion. The guides are competent and friendly, the horses are easy to ride (i am a beginner), and swimming with horses on the east coast of Paros with the sun rising in a 28 degrees water is priceless. Great experience.

We went on a 2,5 hour trip. I had never been horseback riding, and my girlfriend has lots of experience. We both loved it. We even got to take the horses out in the sea. A bit expensive at 50 euros per person, but worth it with the great guides. A big plus that we went in a small group (5, including 2 guides).

Thanasis has great tours, we really enjoyed the time together. We were two adults and a girl of 11 years old. We did a 1.5 hour walk, with two instructors: walked around the mountains, small villages, seaside. Being more experienced I wanted to do gallop, so we split for 20 minutes and then joined our small group again. Horses are taken good care of and instructors are very friendly. Romantic and relaxing experience. :) thank you!

We took the short ride, 1h30mn. My friend was a beginner and we both had a lovely time. The landscapes were very nice, it´s a peacefull, relaxing way to discover Paros. What is quite astonishing, is when the owner just says a word and the horses obey!

Very friendly people who run the horse riding tours. They take you up to the top of a very steep hill where you can see fantastic views. I would advise you all to wear trousers or something over your legs for the tours otherwise its actually quite painful.

A ride to remember! Beautiful landscape, we took the long ride in the morning. We rode through fantastic landscape, rode on a beach and in the sea. We had not been riding for 20 years but still got to do both trot and gallop. We rode with Thanasis himself and his daughter and they are lovely! It is one of my favorit moments in Greece. Visiting this farm and riding the horses was the best experience I've had for a long time! Wonderful horses, the nicest family. Thanasis and his daughter are warm and welcoming. Even found a big pony for my 3 year old daughter,who enjoyed a walk with my husband and Thanasis himself,while mom was on a long ride up the hills. Such a warm atmosphere all around - and a BEAUTIFUL 2 hour ride. Had a terrible experience at another horse center by Paros Kite Center,they were so rude for no reason. But THANASIS FARM was worth it all and saved the day. Go there and you'll find it worth every penny.

On our drive back to our hotel, after spending the day touring Paros. We came across the sign for horse back riding. Without really thinking much about it we continued to keep on driving when suddenly my boyfriend said " babe would you like to go horse back riding?!" Wasn't a doubt in my mind about it as I competitively show horses in Canada. We ended up so pleasantly surprised. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, it did help that my boyfriend is Greek and able to translate. The horses were well cared for, tack clean and ready to go. Soon we were off and up the mountains to take in the amazing views Paros has to offer.A great hidden gem, take a chance and go for a trail ride! Well worth it.

This is the best horse riding on the island. The family are extremely welcoming and really know their horses. They never push you beyond your limits or your comfort zone. The arena is a great place to exercise and get to know 'your' horse. The treks around the countryside are a wonderful way to see other parts of the island from a different perspective. Would recommend Thanasis to absolute beginners and highly experienced riders, every time!

Nos filles 14 et 10ans, niveaux galop 4 et 2 ont adore l excursion de 2h en bord de mer. Groupe de 4 personnes avec 2 accompagnateurs. Balade, trot, galop, baignade avec les chevaux.Personnes très sympathiques, ferme bien entretenue. Bonnes conditions de sécurité. 50euros l excursion un bon rapport qualité prix
