This is one of the best crowds I've experienced while watching a hockey game! So much fun! The fans really get into the game and aren't afraid to get loud.

Nice arena which is mainly used for icehockey and handball. Watching an icehockeygame is fun. Home team Adler Mannheim i one of the better teams in Germany.

The arena is your typical hockey stadium. The prices are a little above average, the food is delicious and the fun is never-ending. I definitely recommend seeing a handball match or a hockey game in this arena. In my opinion, the fans for the teams residing in this arena are the best part :)

My wife and I went to see Cirque du Soleil Quidam here last week. The show was pretty good, not as good as the Vegas shows, but still good. To bad I couldn't find it in TripAdvisor to review it.This was also the first time either of us were in the SAP Arena. An arena is arena, so there is not much to say about that. I have been to several different venues in the US and this compares favorable. Although there were a couple negative points.Seats - The seats were horrible! They are flip down and very minimalist. One of our seats was broken as when we flipped it down it went several degrees past horizontal. Our backsides were asleep after about 20 minutes. We were so happy that the show had an intermission. There was plenty of space between the seats and leg room (I'm 6'2" and the wife is 6') was better than expected.Parking - This is typical of Germany. No space to have real parking like we do in the US, so they build parking garages. One way in and one way out. If you don't rush out to get to your car first you will be waiting in line forever to go through the parking ticket gate. Too many people have problems with putting a ticket into a slot taking even more time to get out of the garage. If there is another show there that we will go back. Although we will probably park elsewhere and take a train that has a stop right at the arena.

German professional hockey games are very exciting and great entertainment. The fans never quit chanting and singing throughout, so the volume is off the scale. No bad, overpriced food or beverages at these venues either. Great entertainment value.

This is a big stadium that looks like it is usually used for hockey or other sports. I saw Leonard Cohen there last week and I am glad that I did not have tickets up in the high bleachers (too far away). If you are going to see a concert here, try to get seats closer to the ground or on the sides. Otherwise, it is quite a steep climb up. What I liked about the Arena is the easy access with public transportation. There is a tram line right outside the Arena or a few minutes walk away is the S-bahn to nearby towns. It's about 20 minutes on the train back to Mannheim and the costs for the ride were included in our concert ticket (check your concert tickets and they should also have it included on the front) so you don't have to purchase separate ride fare.

too many people for only few entrance! terrible parking - i was waiting 70 minutes to have some chance to park the car! 80 people queue in each beer shack. good seats

Was really easy to get around and find seats. Loads of food stands. but they do allow smoking in the staircases!(not good for an ex-smoker!)

As big NHL fans, my wife and I attended an Adler game recently to see how they play on this side of the pond. The Adler are consistently good and apparently have a huge following because Mannheim's soccer team is not very good. The stadium is easy to get to and parking is easy. We were also able to easily buy tickets at the box office even though the game was nearly sold out. They play less often than the NHL and the arenas are smaller so they are often near capacity. The fan section was incredible. So many flags waving and they basically chanted and sang the entire game. The arena had some nice German touches as well such as fairly priced beer (4 euros a glass and since people in Germany can control themselves and don't drive drunk, it wasn't cut off after the second period), and a selection of really good looking wursts on fresh baked buns. Seating in the arena was good, we were in almost the last row at the top and played a little under 30 euros a ticket but had a great center ice view that was completely unobstructed and somehow didn't feel that far from the ice. The best part of the game, besides the Adler winning, was at the end when the team comes back out to salute the fans. The entire team comes back out, some players bring their children, and a local children's team comes out to skate too. The players salute the fans with an Adler (eagle) yell which is a kind of screech accompanied by arm flapping. The mascot also leads the kids in some dancing. It was mostly Gangnam style this time (will that song ever go away?). I thought it was a very nice touch to acknowledge the fans who support them.

The Mannheim Adler is a very good Ice Hockey Club here in Germany. Most German Championships and of course an very good place to visit. The Arena is very comfortable and has places to eat just in case you did not grab a bit to eat before you left home, great parking and easy access to the park places and exit. Autobahns very close to include Highway 5 and 6. Games can last longer than 60 minutes. You can see a Hugh Screen that shows you alls the action on the field. Relax, and watch good games that are very exciting. Concerts are very good also

Went to see tom petty and the heartbreakers there. Prices for drinks where reasonable, accoustic was great. It's a big hall so well done on putting screens up although they could have been bigger.

Outstanding concert - and the venue was fine. Tram line directly to the arena, well signposted, comfortable seats. Good place.

Saw George Michael there, very easy to get into from the autobahn, easy parking. Good prices for snacks and beverages
