We found out about this through trip advisor, as we were in the area we decided to give it a go! We have 2 young children, so I was worried that this may be boring for them, but not at all! Fabio and his family were so welcoming and accommodating and the kids had a great time. We started with a walk through the vineyard and olive groves, with a great explanation of the grapes and how they are farmed. Then into the cellars to see how it is made and finally into the shop to sit and taste the wines along with local meats, cheeses and olive oil. Such good wines and such an authentic experience, at 15 euro's each it was great value too! Well worth a visit

This was a fantastic experience. The walk through the vineyard was gorgeous. The explanation of the process and being showed every step of the winemaking process was very nice. Everyone who was in my group loved the experience, even the people who didn't love wine. And the food which went with the tasting was superb. There was a very personal touch with the tasting that I haven't had at other tastings. I could not recommend this highly enough.

Picked up from trip advisor I can only echo what has already been said. A fantastic arrangement all round, a very interesting tour and insight of this small family run winery, outstanding home made food and brilliant wine tasting as well. All for euro 15 a head! A great 4 hours and some excellent wine to take home. Fantastic - a must!

We visited Concetta last year to taste wines for our wedding in San Miniato. For a small fee we were given a tour of the estate with an english speaking guide (a friend of Concetta's son) and were then sat down to be provided with a wide selection of cheeses, meats and breads. Whilst snacking we sampled the variety of wines produced on the vineyard and had them matched to each of the different foods provided. We then tried two different desserts which again were matched to different wines. Concetta is so enthusiastic about her produce and clearly takes a lot of care in producing her delicious wines. Following our tour and tasting we ordered the Mafefa bianco for our wedding, along with the Colorino and Malvesia Nero whcih were to be drunk with the main meal and then the delicious Vin Santo which we had as dessert with Cantuccini. The vineyard served us fantastically for a great wine tasting experience, as well as providing the amazing wine for our wedding. This vineyard is well worth visiting just to experience the warmth and generosity of spirit of Concetta, as well as their amazing wines.

On Holiday in Tuscany in May 2014 we visited several wineries in the valley of the river Arno and in the Chianti Classico region. One of the wineries was Agrisole in San Miniato. We made an appointment to visit this winery with 5 people for a complete tour with wine tasting. We were very friendly welcomed by Fréderico, who is responsible for the production process at Agrisole.Unfortunately it was rainy weather so a tour through the vineyards was not possible. Fréderico showed us the cellar with the barrels and explained about the production of their wines. After that we were served delicious platters of meats, home made chutneys and bread, cheeses, and olive oil, together with 2 white wines, 6 red ones and 2 ‘Grappa’s and olive oil.We most loved the Mafefa Rosso and the Sangiovese. This was the best wine tasting we did during our holidays and we really recommend visiting this friendly and enthusiastic family who gave us a warm welcome. The visit is really worth the price.

We visited this winery by appointment on June 1st 2014. We were met in the garden by Fabio who looks after the marketing side of the business. He walked us round the vines and olive groves with an explanation in English of what this family concern aimed for when they took over the land in 2003. They have not fully reached their goals yet but have to-date modernised the process and in turn produced some excellent wines which are typically Tuscan. Back in the winery we were joined by Fabio's mother and father who served delicious platters of meats, cheeses, home made chutneys and bread plus their wonderful olive oil accompanied by a tasting of 2 white wines, 5 reds, a vinsanto and a grappa (drivers beware). This was truly worth the modest fee and the whole family are enthusiastic about what they have created. We visit Tuscany every year and will surely be back to buy more Agrisole wines.

Nice vineyard and exceptionally friendly owners. They do have a good variety of wines. For a small fee we were served bread, pecorino and assorted meat snacks during the tasting. Don't forget to taste the olive oil. Recommended!

We visited this vineyard in July 2013 while staying in Toscana (in Alberi). We were shown around the vineyard and I was impressed by the dedication and perfectionism that hosts show towards their business which is not really their business rather their life. The wine tasting was wonderful - each sort of wine they produce was accompanied by a separate tapa (as they say in Spain) to emphasise the taste of wine. Tapas were delisious too. My husband fell in love with dessert wine and I enjoyed Mafefa. This place is definitely worth a visit. And if we lived somewhere in Europe I would have definitely ordered their wine (they say they can send it) to have some stock at home.

We were on holidays in Tuscany this summer (August) and we loved it!One of the activities we did was visiting the vineyard in San Miniato. The guided tour with English speaking guide (Maria Vittoria) was really good! Walking through the grapevines, getting a very comprehensible and interesting explanation on how this all works to obtain a fine Italian wine. It's the 2nd time we do this when we're on holiday in Tuscany (Vinci last year, San Miniato this year). After the tour, the wine tasting began. We were able to taste several wines. Withe, red and desert wine, along with some fine pecorino cheese and prosciutto (all included in the price!). And delicious cantucini that go with the Marsala desert wine. Afterwards, time to select and buy our favorite bottle of wines! Very nice family, very friendly and hospitable! I really recommend this visit to people who would like to have a nice afternoon activity, learn more about the business, get to know good Italian wines, relax and enjoy!

We went to this winery just out of San Miniato on the advice of Trip Adviser visitors and it did not disappoint. The lovely husband and wife run this small family winery and are very proud of it and ever so enthusiastic about sharing their winery with you.The wines are called "Mafefa" made up from their three children's names, Martinez,Federico and Fabian.Mrs starts by offering wine served with bread and their home made olive oil. After very large samples of each wine they take you on a tour of the winery, which would have included the vines had it not been raining and the ground was so muddy. We then return for sampling of desert wines which are served with biscotti. He then takes you upstairs to see the grapes hanging used for the desert wines.A very pleasant interlude on a rainy day in beautiful Tuscany. As an aside, the countryside around this area is just devine.

San Miniato, TuscanyOn a very hot and beautiful day we arrived at the Azienda Agrisole winery. I had pre booked it for 5 people, 4 wines and nibbles. This resulted instead, in an amazing array of 8 wines and a display of local produce…… a wonderful feast for the eyes. It is a family run business that started out as a hobby and is now flourishing. The passion, dedication and the unassuming nature of this family is so tangible that you can almost taste it in the wine. I happen to be more of a white wine drinker and Tuscany is more of a red wine area. I was pleasantly surprised by their Malvasia Nera 2011 (red) which I found amazing. The white wine they produce is not the conventional stuff. I’ll be honest, I am not a big fan of Italian whites but in my opinion, the Trebbiano IGT 2012 was quite special. It will be released in 2 months time and we had the honour and pleasure of tasting it. The skins on the grapes are left for 100 days for maceration so this results in a wine with great character and quite unusual on the palate. If you wish for a very personalized wine tasting, I highly recommend this vineyard while it is still small.

My husband and I stopped in yesterday with no reservation, during the middle of a hot afternoon and were treated to a generous selection of wines, grappa, and olive oil. Several wines are very unique in taste and grape composition. The owners are very friendly and approachable. They speak no English but printed material helps translate the information offered about each wine. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive to San Miniato. They directed us to a great butcher in the city center where we found pecorino, great steaks and a fun art shop.

We stumbled across this winery, rocked up during their lunchtime, and the lady was so nice in terms of letting us taste generous helpings of at least ten different bottles, plus olive oil and dessert wines. She didn't speak english, but we had google translate and she was very patient. The wines were fantastic (I'm a bit of a wine snob), and started at EUR5 a bottle. The most expensive is EUR15 I think. You will probably get a tour of the winery if you like. And they might show you the bottling plant and vats as well.We bought about five bottles, she threw in a free one to make six, and we gave her a small donation as well.A lovely experience from a true family small winery, in a beautiful tuscan setting.

Four of us had an amazing wine tour/tasting experience here. We had arranged prior, and so in addition to a tour of the vineyard, and a clear explanation of the wine making process, we then were treated to a full tasting with accompanying antipasta from the local butcher, which complimented amazingly. The Perla Nera wine was clearly our favourite as we bought a case, and they have an excellent range to suit all budgets.Probably the best wine tour I have ever done, and amazing value.
