The cathedral is beautiful, a more refined vision of the more famous Basilica of St Nicholas. However it is the archeological remains underneath that will blow your mind. The mosaics are incredible as are the artefacts. Do not miss it.

The 1100's cathedral has been modified over the centuries, yet we'll preserved. The prize is the excavations underneath, from Roman up through the Christian centuries. The mosaics floors are a treat. Be sure not to miss the small section of the road that led from Rome to Lecce.

It really is a beautiful building, with an incredible crypt, but what made our visit special was our meeting with Don Carlo, an old very friendly priest who told us about the Cathedral and gave us some nice presents.. He speaks English and enjoys meeting people. He seems to have the right thing to say to each visitor!

the cathedral of Bari will never please those who do not appreciate art. the Romanesque style'' mistreated'' often is in this church a splendid example. now stripped in the main body of the Baroque style, you can clearly see the galleries, the wooden ceiling.Even more beautiful in my opinion and 'the-body in that it still retains its Baroque style.

Quando si visita Bari non ci si può limitare alla basilica di San Nicola, seppur splendida. Anche il duomo è un bellissimo esempio di stile romanico, ben tenuto all'esterno ed all'interno. Da visitare ed ammirare anche la cripta e da non perdere il succorpo.

Собор очень красивый, элегантный, находится в 5 минутах ходьбы от знаменитой базилики святителя Николая . Будучи в Бари, обязательно надо посетить и этот собор. В нем находятся мощи Св. Савина.

E' una chiesa bellissima, impregnata di storia!, va visitata!vi consiglio anche di visitarla in occasione del solstizio. giorno in cui in un ora precisa la luce solare passa attraverso il rosone centrale sulla facciata principale della chiesa e coincide con il rosone disegnato sul pavimento appena sotto l' altare!

L'antica cattedrale di San Sabino, predecessore del più noto S. Nicola come patrono della città di Bari , appare di straordinario interesse architettonico per la purezza dello stile privo di incrostazioni successive al romanico.
