Great place to go. Good parking, great fun in the tree-tops adventure for all ages, fabulous views from the top of the mountain. Coaster Bob was great fun - try it without using the brakes - we screamed the whole way down. The long zip wire is a great thrill, and all in all we had a wonderful time. The cycle route down looked great fun, the walks across the hills looked good too. Places to eat, and the staff were most helpful.Not cheap, but not outrageously expensive either.

Great trip up the mountain in ski lift. Play parks at he middle station and at the top of the ski lift. Interesting luge track at the top which was quite an awesome experience. Beautiful modern church to visit at the top - quite special. Excellent views from the top and on the way there.

We spent a full day at Monte Tamaro:first a few hours at the Ropes Course (at the midway point). Not a lot of guidance/supervision, but luckily we had done adventure courses before in the States. The last leg is very challenging - only one of us was able to complete it!Then up to the very top, where they have a restaurant (pretty bad cafeteria food - treat it as a snack/beverage stop), a bunch of cows & goats roaming around, zip lining and an alpine slide. Then we went down to the water park (separate admission) at the bottom for a few hours.Great family activity if you're staying in Lugano!

Great day out for the family, plenty of walks and activities at the top and the cable car ride was excellent. Also went to the swimming pool and spa which was fantastic. Very clean and efficient and lovely in the warm water outdoors looking up at the mountain.

Travel up the gondola to the top with fantastic views of the Alps to the north. There is a Bob sled ride which is fun for all ages. We ranged from 3 to 66! Horses, mules and cows graze the area and are not fazed by the humans who want to pat them. The horses tried to eat our bread rolls but were otherwise friendly. There is a good cafe, children's playgound and an amazing chapel made of stone.

We were socked in during our stay in Lucerne, couldn't do pilatus or riggi so we took the train here and boy are we glad we did. The ropes course was awesome, our family spent several hours doing the various obstacles. Then we took the gondola up further and did the steel coaster and hiked the area. Decent value and plenty to keep us occupied on an otherwise lost vacation day.

We took the gondola ride up and hiked up Monte Tamaro. Gorgeous views of Lake Maggiore on one side and Lake Lugano on the other. Would have loved to hike all the way to Monte Lema but didn't see until we got down that there a bus that would have returned you to the base of Mt. Tamaro (this after extensive search prior by myself on the internet and brochures). It is a climb up- about 500 meters elevation- but worth it. Next time I would do the Monte Tamaro to Monte Lema point-to-point hike (at about 5hours 30 minutes) and take the bus back.

I was at the Monte Tamaro three times and I enjoyed a lot to do the course of the Adventure Park. I wait that moment when in sprin or summer my sons ask me to accompain them there. I'd like to make a final comment: use gym shoes

We went tot he Splash and Spa at Mont Tamaro, which was an easy short train ride. Everything is well labeled and easy to follow directions in Switzerland. My husband and I had a blast, if we had more time would have done the Zip line and cable car next door.

Must see place if you are in Ticino area. best view compare to other mounts. Excellent for Kids activities at both cable car levels. still lots of snow and thats why adventure park is till closed. Restaurant is good and compare to other mountain restaurant its cheap. Again cable car ride is free with Ticino discovery card...very useful.

Monte Tamaro is well known by biciclle fans, as the tral downhill has been used for many championships in the last years. Recently, a wellness, spa, swimmingpool has been opened, completing the ideal sportsday of every teen!

I may be alto phobic but that view up above and the cable car ride was definitely worth it. Went around April last year and there were still snow everywhere. The restaurant was ok and a bit pricey but it was indeed a fantastic attraction. Excellent view!

Can't miss this when you're visiting Lugano. Beautiful views with a unique church architecture at the end of the cliff. The cable car ride is also worth the money.

we enjoyed going to the monte tamaro. the ride up with the lift was very nice. a beautiful view. walked around and enjoyed even more beautiful views!! the restaurant was good too. we did the zipline and the "coaster bob". it was a lot of fun.
