We went to see Anything Goes on 14th February. Our first visit to to the theatre and we were both very impressed! We was shown to our seats by a very helpful and knowledgeable lady called Sue S. Not only did she tell us all about the theatre she even went out of here way to get us a brochure of future events! The seats are comfortable and good leg room. Two very happy customer, will be coming again soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Went to Aylesbury Waterside theatre last night for the first time, as our favourite play (Tom Stoppard's Arcadia) was being shown there. Excellent Parking right next to the theatre (over Waitrose), and the play lived up to expectations, but the actual theatre was a disappointment. Considering that it is fairly new (opened in 2010), it looked very dated (and very orange!), and the foyer was cold and draughty. The public toilets were so discreetly signed that they were hard to find. We would be reluctant to go there again, unless they were showing something unmissable!

Parking is opposite the Theatre - it's very easy to find. Not the most attractive Theatre inside or out but assume the building is Eco friendly with all the wood everywhere. The public areas are large, modern, airy and clean - large bars on each level so service is pretty good. They run a huge range of shows and performers throughout the year - we are regular visitors and find the annual membership is good value, as so many of the shows are discounted. The seats are really comfortable and the only seats to avoid are the 1st tier swivel seats either side of the auditorium as they have restricted views but are the same price as upper circle yet you only see part of the stage! Everything else is really well done.

There are varied shows to suit most tastes including plays, concerts, pantomimes and musicals. Productions may go on to the West End or be touring productions of previous West End hits. There are also National Theatre Live screenings. We feel honoured that shows of such high quality are brought to us here in Aylesbury---- and that the actors and artistes should make the journey to our home town. The theatre is a beautiful building inspired by the sweep of the hills of the Chilterns and finished in natural wood.

We are now becoming regular visitors to The Waterside as the increasing quality of the shows draws us there rather than having to go on an expensive trip into London, Oxford or High Wycombe. Also, seating in many of the Oxford & London theatres is far too tight and uncomfortable whereas The Waterside has a range of seating types most of which are very good although the side balcony front seats can be restricted in their view by a handrail. There is loads of parking opposite or in the Waitrose multi-storey next door although you have to drive to the top floor. Don't even think about buying their over-priced packs of sweets though, and the ice creams are also very expensive. It is a very modern theatre but this has not detracted from the benefits of a reasonably local theatre that offers very high quality shows.

One of the best out of London theatres. Get there early to ensure you are served at bar and don't need to rush your drinks. All seats have pretty good views of stage. Good listings but always book early.

It is great to write a really positive review. The Theatre is simply stylish and completely functional. Excellent p&d parking on top story of adjacent multi-storey CarPark. I went to see 'Anything Goes' and had seats in Row G at the back of Circle 1. All seats in the auditorium seemed totally unobscured. The seats were noticeably very comfortable for the full performance without the usual bum aches. :-) The orchestra pit seemed almost below the stage but the sound both music and voice was amongst the best I have ever heard. It was a very good experience and the design refreshing. Well done... I will definitely be back for more.Ricky.

Great show and well put on. We had seats in the first circle on the side and we had a couple of lades that had had far to much to drink by us. During the first part they were talking all the way through and leaning in front of us spoiling our view. At half time we spoke to one of the staff and she took us to see the duty manager Rob. Great block. We asked if we could move and he was fine with that. He came to check out our seats and gave us two places we could move to. We moved to the opposite side and enjoyed the rest of the show. I would like to that Rob and the lady (sorry did not get her name) she was on the left side of the first circle. She kindly came along durning the second half to check we were ok.Thanks to all the staff at Waterside. Great job

We wen to Aylesbury Waterside Theatre last night and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the interior ( it was snowing outside, so can't comment on the exterior!). The wooded walls are unique to me and clearly aid the acquisitors which were very good indeed.Staff were helpful and pleasant, services were good too, with all you need in terms of bar, programmes etc.I would definitely go back here and recommend you take a look - you'll enjoy the experience. For Car-Parking - use the car park opposite, not the 'Waitress' car park, which is expensive, although under cover and access from the theatre, should you prefer it.

Brilliant venue. Easy to park. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of places to eat and drink around the area too.

We visited this theatre for the first time to see Al Murray, and more recently took our grandchildren to see the Cinderella panto. This is a really lovely theatre, the seats are not too close and the vision was excellent. I visited at lunch time to buy some tickets from the box office and stayed for lunch. It was really good value, well made and tasty. I would definitely eat here again.

I came to see Midsummer Nights Dream at the theatre and it was truly stunning. The theatre is very modern and the lighting view and acoustics really show that, when I was looking around I imagine you would get a very good view from any seat, however my seat was wonderful. The people at the desk were very charming and were the bar staff and ticket collectors. The play was breathtaking and clearly put on by a very established company and I commend the theatre managers for their excellent choice.Thank you for a wonderful experience

This lovely little theatre continues to bless our town with top productions throughout the year, now the delights of a family panto Cinderella have graced the stage much to the delight of our several Grandchildren.Money well spent and at last a project for Aylesbury and visitors to Aylesbury for years to come, comfortable seating, well ventilated and heated just right.Thoughrly recommended so give it a try, ample parking surrounds the venue and good access for all abilities.

Our first trip to Aylesbury Waterside Theatre was for this year's panto. It was very funny, and very engaging for all ages. The sound, however, was set far too loud, and the children were covering their ears during big numbers. But my main point of criticism - for an otherwise lovely, intimate and well-designed theatre - is the shockingly bad coffee. I bought a coffee from the 4th level bar (filter only), and can honestly say it's been longer than I can remember since I had such a bad coffee. It tasted as if it had been made last week. I couldn't bear finishing it, so wandered down to the ground floor cafe, where I bought a latte from the barista - and it was no better. Burned milk, and no other flavour. There's really no excuse for this nowadays, with decent coffee so widely available, so I hope they sort this out before our next visit! We will definitely come back for the shows, but may need to stop at Costa on the way...!

We've been quite a few times and found there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The shows represent very good value, and there is lots of parking nearby. Also a pretty building so we enjoy visiting.
