When you first arrive you'll realise the car park is quite small and muddy, so I wouldn't advise washing your car just before you go! When you go to the centre all the staff are so friendly and chatty which was lovely. The experience involves getting paired up with a horse and then walking through the chase on them. There was the occasional bit of trotting but not too much as some of the group didn't take to it (mostly children). Overall fantastic value and we will absolutely be going back! The only down side was there was no photo opportunities of us on the horses, which I really wanted!

My son got brought a paddock ride and hat hire for his 6th birthday we had a fantastic experience from booking the experience until the day, very friendly helpful staff brilliant with my son he had such a good day riding "summer" and loved every minuite of it Thankyou all

Fantastic ride for my stepdaughters 10th birthday. Fabulous horses, friendly staff as always. Really enjoyable first time back in the saddle after a long break.

I went on the pub ride in December and had the most wonderful day. Great people, beautiful horses and scenery. Lovely meal, couldn't have asked for more.

Cannock is a beautiful place to explore on horse back hope to return in the spring for a warmer ride. Very friendly and welcoming setup.

Everyone that came on our trek had such a fantastic time, it was such a lovely day out. The horses behaved impeccably, and the staff are all incredibly friendly. There was no 'making do' on this trek, and each horse was selected to personally suit each rider. I would highly recommend this day out to anyone- as I am sure the trekking centre can meet the needs of any rider! Thank you Lisa and your team, and thank you Tia for being such a lovely horse.

Friendly staff, lovely place to ride love the chase. Went last winter took me a year but still a great place.Thanks to Lucy and Emily the trekking guides. They know what you need as a beginner the horses were well suited both Thomas and went back again today and rode Sky. Looking forward to getting some lessons in and doing the longer treks. Thanks for a great trek.

Such a lovely trek...the horses were gorgeous and very well behaved with a novice like myself aboard. the girls who came out with us were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, Cannock Chase is lovely and what better way to see it than on horseback...I hope Pirate got some extra oats for having to put up with me :)

Although the morning was drizzly and cold, the welcome from the staff was warm and friendly. A great ride,lovely countryside,great scenery which I am sure will be beautiful with better weather. The horses are lovely and well looked after, I hope to ride every couple of weeks.

What a great place to go on a trek.My dream for my 50th birthday was to relive my memories of when I was younger going on hacks through the woods where I grew up.I have been having riding lessons to gain my confidence ready for the big day.I went on a 2hr mixed ability ride I rode a horse called Emrys he was wonderfull he had the ability to know my capabilities and it was brilliant when he Cantered for me. The leaders were very friendly and took us on a lovely route through beautiful Cannock chase given you advice when needed.It was a perfect way to spend my birthday.

I am a horse owner and regularly ride. For the first time I decided to go to the trekking centre as my horse was out of action.I chose to do the all day pub ride.My horse, Benson was superb (as were all the others). The Guides were very friendly. The company on the trek was wonderful, and the scenery of Cannock Chase was spectacular (who know that was in the middle of the country).I cannot recommend Cannock Chase trekking Centre highly enough, whether, you are a complete beginner or an experienced rider.Lisa and the gang made my day very enjoyable. - What else would you want to do on a Saturday?

CCTC offer a various treks depending on the riders' ability. They have a great selection of horses & ponies and always match you to horse who is suited to your size & ability. The Chase offers a multitude of paths & provides beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons. I would highly recommend this trekking centre to anyone considering taking up riding, returning to horseback or in need of an exhilarating trek. Excellent therapy to forget the rest of the world

This is a great place to ride. Its easy to find with good directions on the web site, and brown signs from some distance out. The staff are all welcoming and friendly. They have a good selection of well looked after horses, with forward going mounts for those that are more experienced.The riding is fantastic. The only roadwork was crossing one road on the way out and again on the way back. The ride leaders are observant and quick to help anybody that needs it. On our ride the experienced riders were split off on three occasions to go off for a canter.
