到目前为止，见过最宏伟的哥特式大教堂。太有气势了，细节上也很漂亮。值得一提的是，还可以登塔。那塔应该是约克市最高的地方了，可以俯瞰全约克。

教堂非常漂亮,一定要参加下午5点15开始的晚祷,我们去了2次,听了2次不同的唱诗,非常棒的方式来结束疲惫的一天。

这是今年我们第二次来这里,而且我们还留着上一次的门票,所以这次不用再买票,因为票有效期是12个月。建筑很漂亮,而且正在进行大装修,当完工之后会非常漂亮。

约克大教堂很漂亮,我每次来纽约(几乎每个月都会来)时都会去那逛逛。不过,原本礼貌性的请求捐赠,现在却变成了入场费,我觉得他们这样可能会失去一批观光的人或是像我这样的回头客。除了这一点,如果你还没去过约克大教堂,那还是很值得一去的(参观地下室或屋顶露台他们也收费)。

的确,这栋建筑始建于几百年前这一点让人吃惊,就价格而言,我只能说感觉一般般。塔很漂亮,但我希望明年即将推出的娱乐互动节目能为此地增色添彩。

很好的教堂。不知道为什么那天去的时候不收门票，嘻嘻。在门前的时候就很多人在拍照纪念，因为正在装修的关系所以里面显得有些凌乱，但是丝毫不影响你欣赏她的美。建筑和装饰都很有风格，里面的彩色玻璃是在二战中被一片片拆下保留下来，在战后又重新安装上的。

I was lucky enough that my parents had been about 6 months previously and had kept their tickets, which we used. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have visited the inside. It's magnificent from the outside, and lovely inside. We joined a tour group, I'm not sure what our guide's name was, but he was very knowledgable about the history. It wasn't crowded when we went, and we got to look through all the areas and hear all about it. It was a shame that the window wasn't there, but the history of the window, plus the costs involved, was very interesting, and they have a very large picture (basically to scale) of the window, so you can still see what the design is, and they have an igloo where you can see bits of the window, and the stories behind each segment.

I don't mind paying an entrance fee but £10.00 each is too much. Went in to light a candle for my Mum, which we could do without paying but couldn't sit for a minute or two without paying. Disappointing

What an amazing building, you can spend ages in it. Once you've been in and paid you can us the ticket again to gain access for the next 12 months, also if you have a York Card it's free! This is our third visit and we still haven't seen everything! Make sure you go up the tower, but beware it's not for the faint hearted, it's a lot of steps!!!

This really is a very special place, and at the moment the Orb display gives a chance to get a rare glimpse at the stained glass and its restoration close up (still on ground level I hasten to add!). Don't miss the crypts and undercroft - they are fascinating. Top tip - book to go up the tower early - the trips sell out fast.

The building is beautiful and when you go in, you get a guided tour and can go back free within the next 12 months. We also paid extra to go up onto the tower. If you have a crippling fear of heights or you get claustrophobic, you shouldn't do it - they have Health & Safety pointers anyway before you pay to go up there. The view is beautiful and, even though it's a long way up, it's definitely worth it when you get there!!!

Lovely Minster, worth a visit if your visiting york for the day. There is an entrance fee but this is reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately we did not have time to go in, but from the out side it is an architectural marvel. Next visit we will make sure to have ample time.

£30 for three adults to set foot past a very crowded foyer. St Peter's in Rome was free. I don't mind contributing towards the upkeep but this was a total rip off.

One of the most beautiful cathedrals i have seen! Worth the money to go to the top, water to drink is advisable mid way especially if your throat gets dry from climbing what feels like a million stairs but the view at the top is absolutely stunning!Internally, its just wonderful! would definitely recommend to everyone who goes to York: Iv been twice! :-)
