A large group of friends traveled to AZ and headed up to Jerome. This was a must do! The service was excellent, very attentive and interactive with the customers. Very knowledgable. Staff was able to accomodate to our large group in a very reasonable amount of time. The wine was delish, and sure it may cost a bit more than others around that area, but Maynard (and staff) really set off the boom for wine in that area. I purchase a few bottles to bring home, and felt it wasn't too outrageous in price.

So before my trip a few of my fellow wine loving friends told me it is a must to visit but expect pretentiousness. Not the case at all they were very friendly and knowledgable taking the time to explain the grapes and flavors. They had 2 lines Merkin Wines which are made with grapes from New Mexico and Caduceus Wines which are made from AZ grapes both were very very good although I did prefer the Caduceus Wines. However purchased a Merkin white wine mainly because it fit in my budget a little better. By far my most favorite tasting room in Jerome and can't wait to go back for more!

We did the Caduceus Wine Flight. The barkeep is knowledgeable and welcoming. We also found a great muscle rub in the shop. Wine is tasty!

I was suprisingly impressed.Tried the Arizona Flight and the cab blend was one of the better wines I've ever tasted.Wanted to purchase a few bottles, but felt at $60 per, it was overpriced.Great staff.Wish they had a bit more seating away from the bar, but it is what it is.I've tried wines from Southern AZ and no comparison to the taste and quality of these wines.

This was the highlight of our visit to the entertainingly oddball town of Jerome. Before my visit, the idea of drinking wine made from grapes grown in the middle of a searing desert made Bartles and Jaymes seem appetizing. But the wine here is really pretty good. I thought the tasting flight was a bit overpriced and it was slightly irritating that the price printed on the menu was lower than what they told us and charged, but perhaps we are paying for the novelty of the experience. Don't miss the rose. Stop by and take it all in, especially since Jerome is not exactly a metropolis (yet?)

Caduceus Cellars is a must visit winery when in Jerome, AZ. Their grapes are mainly from Arizona, with some sourced from New Mexico. Their reds are extremely tasty and are true to their varietal character. You will not be disappointed by your visit or tasting of their great wines!

My husband, three month old son and I went inside looking for a coffee and somewhere to breastfeed. We ended up drinking the best coffee we'd had on our US holiday, doing the Caduceus wine tasting and purchasing one of their higher end wines. Our host sommelier, Alan, was knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic without trying to push any wines on us. The shop is immaculately presented with plenty of wine varieties, wine paraphernalia and gourmet foods on offer. Our only regret is that we didn't eat anything as their small but quality menu looked delicious!

Nestled in the elevated ghost town of Jerome is a hip little wine tasting room on the upper street of the main loop. Its Called Caduceus Cellars and Merkin Vineyards. When we were there they had 4 different flights of wines for tasting. The holiday flight of wine had 5 different wines, the bottles of which sold for 40 -60 dollars each. Tasting was 13 dollars. I ended up getting a tasting of their Montipulciano...and then buying a glass. The bottle was 60 dollars, so I opted just for a glass. Great ambiance, tons of shirts, hats, and other sundries for sale. Excellent cheese plates and nibbles. People watching while sitting in any four of the comfy front couches is perfect.Highly recommend stopping here if you like wine. They will have what you like. Did I mention that they have a bottle of their coveted "Judith" wine for sale....a mere $525 ;-)

We came to Jerome to visit this winery because my husband is a big Tool fan. We had a really good time. I was very surprised that the wine was as expensive as it was, but then learned that most of the AZ wines are on the pricey side. $30 a bottle was pretty standard. It would have been nice to have crackers or some other palate cleanser. Personally I enjoyed the coffee in the morning more than the wine ;-) The tasting was $22 for the 2 of us. Much more than what we are used to. This was also pretty standard across the wineries we visited. They also had a neat selection of merchandise as well.

Husband and I are fans of MJK and wine, so we were excited to be in the Jerome area to make a stop at Caduceus. Abby was a great guide and the wine was delicious! The tasting room was also fun. Definitely worth the visit!

We love this place and stop here whenever we visit Jerome. Depending on the bottle, it can be a bit pricey. However, this is a place where you truly get what you pay for. The wine is excellent, and the atmosphere and staff are very cool.

The most reputable winery tasting room in town I think. All good for the wine tasting. However, we came a bit earlier before the opening hours. The staff were just managing the venue and not really taking care of us. Lastly, when we asked for the oversea shipping of the wine. Looks like the staff are not quite knowledgeable with that.

My fiancee and I stopped in here in June 2014 and really enjoyed the experience. She knows a lot more about wine than I do and I wanted to stop in as a MJK fan. We were both not disappointed. We enjoyed ourselves in a very relaxed atmosphere and the service was awesome. Very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining staff. We ended up buying a couple bottles and had a few glasses as well. Try the flight to hone in on what you prefer. Each pour was described in detail by the staff which really helped me discover new things about wine that I'd never experienced. I walked away from our visit with more knowledge and a desire to learn and try more types of wine. Overall Jerome is a really cool place and this place added so much to our visit. Cheers!

My husband is a MJK fan and I love wine so it only made sense to include a stop at Caduceus Cellars during our Vegas/Grand Canyon trip. Danielle and Tony in the tasting room were so friendly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wine. We really enjoyed talking to them while sipping Caduceus's delicious wines. My only regret is not having enough room in my suitcase for more than 2 bottles. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely include a stop here again.

we get to go to Jerome once a year and Tony and Danielle always treat us like we are regulars. As wine club members we know the wines well so the service is what keeps us coming back.
