The comedian we saw was Sebastian Maniscalco, he was good. When we got there about 20-30 minutes before show time, we had to wait in a rather long line,. Conversation and people watching passed the time. We got in and had decent seats. I say we were in the middle of the long line. Our waiter was pretty good. I don't know if we were that hungry but the food was pretty good. Overall had a good time. The one thing that could have been better were the seats. More comfort please!

i have been here a few times. I enjoy going to see comedians at the spot. The venue is very nice and i like the setup. I always have a good time but the food and service have always been consistently awful. I can never recommend anything from the menu because everything i have tried is either cold, limp, soggy, or just plain awful tasting. The service? Worse than the food. If you go into this place to enjoy a night of comedy then this place is Fantastic. Just dont order from the menu and expect the service to be sub-par. If you embrace these facts from the onset, you will have a wonderful evening.

I hate to have to write and tell you about our horrible experience last night at the Hard Rock Improv Ft Lauderdale was, but I have no choice since it likely will leave the bad taste for me forever in your establishment. We arrived and where seated. Our waiter told a drink order and disappeared for nearly 15 minutes. Once the drinks came we never saw the waiter again for nearly 30 minutes. 5 minutes before Bobby Lee was done with his half hour set our appetizer that came with our package was brought. We never where offered any food off menu at any time when we asked for waiter. The appetizer was cold and just horrible as the set was now over and still no 2nd drink order. By now Bobby Lee was signing autographs and we still where not able to,order a 2nd drink your requirement. Our waiter was horrible and actually told us "since it took so long for the food don't worry yet about ordering a second drink". Was he kidding me you have a minimum and the show is over so I have to pay for a drink I never had the opportunity to order. Then Bobbi Lee does only a 30 minute set that truly is unacceptable for NY's eve. I was not the only person who was upset about this show being so short. Most sets are over an hour not including the opening act. Never again will we be back for a NY's Eve. I can not even understand how such horrible service from a waiter is acceptable. I couldn't get or find a manager anyplace. Know one had ever even checked that we had our food had drinks and or offered us anything to order. If you make money on service and serving then u failed here miserably.

The comedians, drinks & seats were fine. My friends tell me the food was fine as was the view although the seats were uncomfortable but the audience was crap. Not all I add but a large section around the auditorium were talking amongst them selves or ordering food & drinks. This made listening to the quick fire gags etc. almost impossible. It wasn't as if the acts were poor. I was amazed that the acts didn't tell the offenders to shut up or even the management. My visit was Saturday 29th November 2014.

Great , great time and great comedy. As is normally the case , there were 3 good comedians. All 3 were superb , but honestly , the first comedian was the best , the second was second best and the headliner was actually the least funny comedian. (although her delivery was very funny)We were sitting in the front , however there are a ton of good seat locations ,within the club. The mixed drinks are good and strong (since they encourage doubles) but are quite expensive. The food was also fine , however the portions are quite small for the price. We went to the early show and had absolutely no problem with seating and the show starting within 10 minutes of the advertised start time.I would recommend the Improv for anyone who wants to laugh out loud.

Great headliners, cozy atmosphere, nice seating. Once the lites dim, it would be a great idea to just order drinks. If you enjoy bar food, they have a nice selection. For the quality of the food- you should eat before you go. Great service! Enjoy the show(you can hear and see from any seat).

Fun night, drinks were good (pricy), the food was good, small portions for the $$. But the comics made the night worth while. Had attentive wait staff.

I am on the email list for the improve for deals etc they called me to tell me about this show on Thursday 5 of November 2014 at 10pm. I called the night before and 2 hours before to ask what time they open door they told me 9.45pm both times I called. I showed up at 9.10pm and waited until 10.10pm when I approach to ask they told me well the comedIan from the show before still performing and we have no idea whenever he will decide to finish. So their answer pretty much was : you gotta wait because the comedian does whatever he wants. Is 11.30 and I'm still waiting I drove 45 min to get here so I'm waiting they already messed up my night and the security was super rude and told me if I want they will refund the money. The manager swore to god this never happened and ask us to come back next week. Absolutely unprofessional with no care for 100 people standing for multiple hours. I wish I didn't dedicate my night to this place.

I have never seen a "comedy club" so unprofessional like this establishment. I made the big mistake of inviting some friends out of town to this place and I regret choosing this place as our main destination for our Thursday night. I called the place 8 hours in advance to ensure we were going to have good seats. They told me doors were opening at 9:45 PM and they asked us to be on time(which we did) . We got to the club at 9:50 PM and after paying for the tickets, we were told to wait in line. It is 11:07 PM and we are still waiting in line, most of the customers are leaving as I write this review. All the employees had to say was : we don't know when you can come in, honestly the comedian from the previous show always does whatever he wants and we don't know what time he would leave. After waiting for this long , that is the least desired answer I was expecting. The way they sold this show was misleading and I feel like a fool for bringing my friends to this unorganized club. I surely will not be returning to this establishment again. What a shame for the hard rock casino to have this kind of business under their roof.

On Last night I went to the Improv to see Comedian Lavell Crawford, the comedian that came on before him was Spike Jackson. They were awesome. The show was suppose to start at 10:30pm but it didn't. Approx 200 or more people waited outside in a long line for about 30 min. The show started around 11:00pm or so. The inside of the show room has so many chairs and tables that you barely have room to stretch your legs. The tables are so close together that the lady that was seated behind me kept flicking her hair back and it hit me on the side of my face or the back of my neck every time. The whole time the show is going on the waitresses and waiters are walking back and forth between the rows, thus blocking the stage and hindering your ability to enjoy the show because they are talking with patrons the hold time. Every time a waiter passed us we would have to duck or move or feet. NOT GOOD... The food selection is okay. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and it was fried really hard. They gave me spaghetti sauce to eat with my fries instead of ketchup. Really??? The drinks are overpriced. Also, the policy is a two drink minimum, though they don't explain it, those drinks do not have to be alcoholic. Bottom line, between the long wait in line, and then being packed in a room like a bunch of sardines. If I were ever to attend another show there I probably would not go on a Friday or Saturday night. Too many people and too many distractions.

We catch a show here whenever we can. Only bad part is they don't have performances on most week nights. But there's always food and great shopping if there's no show on that particular night.

BEWARE!!!!!The 2 drink minimum that I was not informed of upon entering is extortionate. I was threatened to be kicked out if I did not pay up and I would not be provided a refund for my ticket. If the price of the ticket is not enough to stay in business, raise your ticket prices and be transparent about it. Shame on those of you who normalize this behavior. I will will be leaving 1 star reviews of this place anywhere I can and I will go out of my way to ensure others do not visit your establishment.Un-american.

The standard Improv experience. There are no issues with the acts, those individuals are fine. The food at the Improv is average to below average especially the wait staff. Lowest price for food starts at $3 for a side of fries and goes to about $20 for an entree. Nachos are $13, Mozzarella sticks are $9, Quesadila (sp?) $10, basket of fries $7 etc. The drinks start at $3 for soda that comes in a 12 or 8 oz dixie type cup loaded with ice. Wine starts at $7 for house and the glass is filled below the halfway mark. The bill comes with a pre-tip of 15% and some of the waiters should not even receive that much. An individual I was with ordered a salad and it took 45 minutes for it to come out of the kitchen while prepared meals were coming out before the salad.

The comedy show was great. We attended on a Sunday night. We could hear, see and enjoyed the show really well. Beware of the drinks without prices listed. The term sticker shock definitely fits this. We ordered appetizers, which were pretty good. There seems to be plenty of wait staff, however, they still ran around in a frenzy and not knowing any answers to our questions. They also ask patrons to fill in cards for a drawing, but no one actually collects the paper - therefore this is quite misleading. A good way to get info on the patrons without actually honoring the check being free for the chosen ticket in a drawing. They did call out someone's name but that was after half the room left after the show had ended.
