You would think they would have much better control of the homeless always begging for money as you walk with your kids through the park. You're always afraid of muggers HORRIBLE!

This area is crowded with tourists. It is accessed from Harrison Avenue and Hollywood boulevard. There is a giant Publix Supermarket. You also have a grand Italian restauranct called Mama Mia. You have a Fed Ex there and many other restaurants. They have concerts on weekends in the park and a flea market during the week.

Nice park but lacks warmth, I don't know if it's just too big or that it never has enough people in it or maybe both, but it doesn't do it for me.

Happy we chose to take a cab then to drive.....there were about 20 food trucks.....too bad we couldn't try a bit from each but the portions are too large and would be pricey.......had some fish taco, grill cheese with ground beef, caramelized onion and bacon....., deep fried hot dog with homemade relish from the Jersey Dawg...garlic lobster roll from The Lobsta Guy.......pizza from The Nostra Pizza.......freshly made gellato and ice cream forget the two trucks name......overall a nice evening, lots of people......both local and tourists.....there is more at this park....perhaps return to see more.......if you are a foodie you will enjoy a few hours of eating here......

I was looking for a shopping area with cute boutiques, art galleries and restaurants. Many storefronts were closed down and the remaining shops were selling chintzy, junky stuff. This was a waste of time.

Terrible traffic. Didn't enjoy the park much, but managed to do some shopping. The historic downtown is nothing much.

I like the Arts Park first of all because many of the events are Free! There is Food Trucks every Monday, 5:30 - 10pm. Funtastic Friday for the kid, 5-8. There is also a free movie night! Just to add in case you didn't know, there are several featured artist at various times and their works are on displayed in the Arts Park gallery. You should especially go by and visit the glass blowing exhibit. I have taken a few of our visiting guest there for a live demonstration. It's a treat!

The greatest assortment of Food Trucks are assembled every Monday night around the Circle. The selection varies from Monday to Monday. There are about 10 trucks that are constants, but then several more that are surprises.

lot of unsavory people and it takes away from the area , because it is nice ..i was kindc of aware of my surroundings

Went to park to see the musical tree and was told it was not working. Couldn't wait to get out of the area. Transient people everywhere. Made me very uncomfortable.

It is a beautiful park, there are always some activities going on, families, etc. there are plenty of eateries surrounding the park so you have your pick of either italian, chinese, thai, salads, seafood, etc.

So if you're up for a stroll and want something different to do, then definitely give this event a try. It is super family friendly and dog friendly. It's also a fun date option or just a friends meet up point. Parking can be a challenge, but luckily parking is free in the majority of the area. My boyfriend and I walked from truck to truck reading each menu and then after seeing all our options, making our final decision. There had to have been over 20 trucks around, each with their unique specialty. We were completely satisfied with our choice of Pumpkin Ravioli in a Parmesan Fondue sauce with Walnuts from Il Fiorentino food truck. It was absolutely delicious and worth the wait, as food is made when you order it. It was a special at $12 and worth every penny. I went home thinking of how I could do that recipe at home, it was that good.We headed over to HipPops Handcrafted Gelato Bars and for a $5, we got an amazing dessert. I chose the Cappuccino Gelato Bar, dipped in dark chocolate, then rolled in oreo cookies. And all this done, step by step, right in front of my eyes. It was amazing and we had to stop ourselves from going for a gluttonous second round, as these gelato bars were large, tasty and filling. I'd definitely go again another Monday night, maybe a little earlier to enjoy the scenery better, before nightfall, as they have beautiful large trees in this park. It happened to be a full moon this past Monday and so there was also a Drum Circle event going on at the same time in honor of the full moon. It only added to the culture and character of this event. Only thing I would like to see added, is if these trucks had more food options that were not of the deep fried variety. But there really is something for everyone if you look around. You can see the list of participating food trucks at this website, http://burgerbeast.com/arts-park/ .

It was really nice walking around here. There is a nice playground, and even sprinklers. There are also nice paths and foliage. The glass blowing shop there was really nice, and you can make your own piece.

Always a nice stroll around town while picking up some great food, either from numerous cafés or the Monday Food Trucks...nice safe family fun!
