Right at the very end of Key Biscayne is a wonderful park that includes pristine white sand beaches, Gin Clear Waters, old lighthouse, and startling views of the ocean and sky. Terrific for sunbathing hiking fishing swimming or snorkeling don't this treasure close to Miami yet far from the maddening crowd. Enjoy!

We planned to spend a day in Miami, but we found the city crowed, loud and expensive. So on our way out of the city, we decided to go to Key Biscayne. What a great decision. Here we found a beautiful and quiet beach at Bill Baggs Park. We enjoyed a long walk along the beach and explored the light house. Great afternoon......

Bill Baggs has good beaches close to Miami without the noise and hurry of the city. We had a great day here and you could easily spend a full day on the beach. Good spot!We did wish there was less seaweed on the beach though and the bathrooms could use some renovations.

Spent the day here, rented bikes, nice bike paths, a couple of restaurants, many picnic tables, beaches clean, bathhouses with outdoor showers. We went to the top of the lighthouse, great views. Learned about Stiltsville, very interesting. Saw quite a few Iguana's and a couple of raccoons hanging around, seemed more afraid of us. Need to pay park entry fee ( $8.00) still one of our cheapest days in Miami

We walked up to the top of the lighthouse and were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful views of the blue-green water and the white sand beaches. We loved this area and it wasn't even too crowded. It's a great day-trip. Easy to access and easy to walk around.

The beach is natural, the foliage is beautiful, the water is perfect. All the natural stuff is great. It is just that the bathrooms really need some attention (and some toilet paper.)

I visit here every trip to Key Biscayne. I love this place. There are miles of beaches, trails, birds, wildlife, picnic areas, native flora and fauna, fishing, and a couple pieces of Florida history. I never tire of the beauty of the lighthouse and Stiltsville is amazing to see. It's as though the homes just hover above the water. It can get hot and humid much of the year. I recommend visiting in the winter so that you can really explore on foot or bike and not feel like you're suffocating in the south Florida heat and humidity. Currently, the entrance fee is $4 and worth every penny. Don't miss this beautiful piece of Florida history a short drive from Miami.

We rented 2 bikes from Mangrove Cycles and biked around Key Biscayne on a warm Sunday afternoon in February. Enjoyed riding thru the neighborhoods and bike trails...but were disappointed to find the beach crowded and littered with seaweed. Not the tranquil beach that many pictures portray. Still loved the visit to Key Biscayne and would like to return to the park on a weekday morning. Great place for a bike ride.

This is a must see if you are around fort lauderdale/miami. Great beach and the lighthouse has amazing views of miami! The walks on the other side are also great , great value day out. Great hiking trail , worth the walk! restaurant was ok

Great place. One of the nicest parks I have visited in South Florida. The lighthouse is worth the trip alone. The park is huge and surrounded by a beautiful beach. We ate at the Lighthouse Café. The food was good and affordable. The Sangria was amazing. We spent 4 hours there and it wasn't enough time . This is a great place to go back time and time again. Next time want to get the family together for a barbecue/ beach day. Also want to check out the nature trails and the other restaurant. As I said you can re visit with a new plan every time. Great place for a romantic afternoon with your honey and an amazing place to enjoy a day spent with family. Can't wait to go back. Plan a full day . You will want to spend time here .

paradise park is nature of florida at its best the light house is a must see. take bathing suit beach is worth the walk and a dip

This place is highly recommended if you like to take a walk on algae around the beach and if you would like to make contribution by going cleaning all the garbage that visitors left everywhere in the state park, and no one care about it, even though garbage cans are everywhere, then this is the place to be and rest assure that you'll have a full day of it, for the 8$ fees that you have to pay at entrance...!

It was cold and drizzling the day we were able to go down to Key Biscayne. Easy to drive to and the entry fee of $8 was modest. They have a fishing side to the peninsula and a beach side. We read the website that said we could see the lighthouse with a ranger at 10 and 2 (closed on Monday) so we met the group then. The over 100 steps up to the top of the lighthouse is manageable and the ranger tells you its history. Another docent opened the lightkeeper's quarters for us as well. It was nice. Afterward, we grabbed a snack at the beachside café where they do not have American coffee, only 3 types of Cuban coffee and Cuban food exclusively. We had tea and shared a delicious flan. Due to the winter and the rain, the entire park was nearly empty. I liked the drive through the residential area to get there. It gave me another perspective (a good one) on Miami living.

one of my favorite places to run or bike when in key biscayne. lots of neat trails. never seems very crowded but are always people in the park. nice place to grab a bite if you are hungry. worth a visit to the light house to learn its history. great place to get away from it all.

Clean, well-maintained, and a great place to hike or bike. The lighthouse is interesting, the nature trail is a nice walk, and next time we will bring bikes as they have a lot of bike trails.
