surfside golf course

Well kept smaller golf club. Visit was in winter so conditions were the best that could be expected.Folks were friendly and accepting of a foreign guest.

Surfside is a relatively flat parkland 9 hole golf course. While there are no memorable holes, the course in general has mostly a woodland border and it is not uncommon to see deer feeding. The green fees and the friendly staff make this a good value if you are on the Long Beach Peninsula.

The course is always great to play. You can play early and pay when you come in. It's always in good condition. Enjoy!

This course is sand based so drainage is immediate, making the course playable all year. Great layout with some excellent design features. Everything is right in front of you so it is really fun to play. Proximity to the ocean provides a breeze that makes for a more challenging experience. This little track is pure golf. Although on the short side on some holes, this nine hole course would appeal to the better player. Having played this course several times, it is usually in great shape. Greens are usually fast and fairways are quality surface to play shots from. If you are into cigars, slacks and cocktail carts this is probably not the place for you. If you are into good solid golf, do what it takes to play this little gem.
