Saw a favorite band there, it was great. They had food vendors out, very family friendly. Allowed outside beer and wine.

There is always something fun to do at Levitt Pavilion. Mostly, we take advantage of the shows and events for the children during the year-especially summer. However; Levitt also provides great shows for parents when we are lucky enough to get a babysitter. Grab a few lawn chairs and blankets and pack a basket/cooler and enjoy yourself! Or if you arrive early enough you can eat at one of the local restaurants within walking distance. Many people overlook the Pavilion but, its definitely worth checking out.

They have all kinds of outdoor concert events here. It is hot int he summers, but awesome in the Fall (stop laughing, Texas has a 1 day Fall season)., Fourth of July is a big event here with concerts and fireworks. It is right by UTA and in Downtown Arlington.

The Levitt Pavillion is in downtown Arlington and offers a nice venue for outdoor concerts. Just bring lawn chairs, a blanket, food or drink and enjoy the concert. I don't know the capacity but it offers a large area for seating. Refreshments are available.

In my opinion, the Levitt is one of the best things that has happened to Arlington in a long time: free, good music, no smoking, available food and drink, ability to bring your own food and drink, nice bathroom facilities across the street at City Hall, friendly folks, etc. The music is varied and lots of it. It starts in the spring and ends when it gets pretty warm...then starts back up in the fall after it cools down some. Several of the shows are tied in to other events: 4th of July festivities, ecology, etc. One can find out about the music through the Internet before you go, thus sampling sounds to make decisions as to attending or not. We love it and have made new friends of some of the attendees. The atmosphere is super laid back, with lawn chairs, blankets, wine, beer, snacks, and a few sweet doggies.

We saw Dawn and Hawkes here this summer and it's a great small venue. The circus was really fun because you can get so close to the performances and performers. Don't miss it next year. Family friendly and great burgers from J. Gillegan's.

Nice to get outside with friends, sandwiches, wine & great entertainment. I do mean great entertainment… "Playing For Change" a compilation of performers from around the world has been my favorite of the 4 evenings I have enjoyed Levitt Pavilions concerts. The venue is located in downtown Arlington. Offering plenty of free parking an a few nice choices of restaurants within walking distance. There is also a choice of a few food trucks on site offering decent snacks, beer & wine. Mad Mike's Ice Cream is a good yummy truck that should not be missed. Make sure to bring a blanket, folding chair and kick your shoes off….sink your toes into the grass & dance!!!

Our family has been going to the Levitt since it opened. Other than the July 4th concert, which is waaaaayy overcrowded and out of control, its a very enjoyable place to watch a concert. But, we wonder why people feel a need to bring their dogs to the concert? Do dogs enjoy music and socializing with complete strangers? Are they (the dog owners not the dogs) trying to be chic by bringing their dogs to a concert? Is it the cool thing to do? I love my dog as much as anyone, but I wouldn't want to ruin other concert goers evening by bringing my dog and letting it sniff at other people all night long. Give the dog a bone and leave it at home. The dog probably won't miss you as much as you think. Back to the concerts - Tejas Brothers were great!

Our family participates often in the events that the Levitt Pavilion offers. Most recently, the kids circus which awesome! The parking is convenient and free.Closer to the time of the event, the Arlington police block off the road so we definitely feel safe when our son starts to run around. You're able to use the buildings surrounding the pavilion, but there's also "porta-pottys" provided during the events that are clean with hand-sanitizer available as well. We love that there are food trucks surrounding us with snow cones during the summer for the kids events and then alcoholic beverages during other musical events for the adults. Make sure to bring a little bit of cash for food trucks OR a picnic basket. Plus, lawn chairs or a blanket to lay out on the lawn. All in all, it's an amazingly friendly environment with FREE entertainment!

Saw Larry Joe Taylor free concert. Great time. Great place to bring Dogs and kids. Great place to have a family outing.

If you can catch a performance at this great venue, don't miss it. Pack a cool picnic for your spouse, grab a few low profile lawn chairs or a blanket and sit out under the stars and enjoy the line up of music that this city puts together each year. You won't regret it. Great FREE entertainment.

2013 free concert series was great fun, I'm excited to see what 2014 holds. They also have kid friendly events which I hear is great.

My oldest son accompanied me for a concert by the rock band Foreigner. We had front row seats due to our VIP passes. This is a great place for performances of all kinds. Since it's open air seating, I would not recommend it during very hot or rainy weather. The only downsides were: very long lines for refreshments and the promoter's allowance of back row seaters to move up to stand near the stage, which blocked our view while seated.

Great way to spend some family time, relax, enjoy a good show. Every one should try @ least once. Make sure you bring bug spray though.

The concert I saw was OK, but there really wasn't a good place to sit and the acoustics were not what I expected. The parking wasn't that great either. I'd probably go back, but it would have to be for something I really wanted to see.
