This was our first visit to Zorvino. Our server was Donna and she was amazing. Donna welcomed us immediately and made us feel right at home. She clearly loves the wine she is selling... had lots of tasting notes, wine knowledge and recipe recommendations to share with us. The tasting was free and we got to try at least 9 wines. They have a huge selection they make there. We ended up buying 6 bottles and it was a variety... a malbec and pinot noir, a cranberry white, two wines infused with maple, and a couple dry whites. Donna gave us a tour of the wine making and facility - their event facility is gorgeous. She knew a ton about the winery and its origins, its practices, the owners, and the wines. What a delight.

February 28, 2015 my son Chris and daughter-in-law Amy put together a beautiful I mean beautiful wedding at zorvino. This place is Amazing in a beautiful country setting, Nestled in the woods. The food is absolutely fantastic there were so many compliments people could not believe how they could surve so many people in everybody's plate was perfect. The service was fantastic the manager was on top every step of the way. Even the cost for 100 people was very reasonable. My idea of a good wedding is the atmosphere, The service and most of all everyone has fun. This wedding was all of the above. I personally want to thank all the staff serving us for helping my son and his new wife Amy with a wonderful wedding. I gave you all five stars because I truly believe you deserve it. Thank you very much Normand Berube

Having read published previews I was excited to be going to an office Christmas party at this place. Traveling from the north I was not happy with the windy road that seemed to be a long trip through the wilderness from 101. Arriving in the dark we were pleased that the company has invested in a number of multiple light strings with which they wrap their light structures, however, there is a directional sign in the midst that is not illuminated (directing people toward the winery or function facility) and caused us to get a bit confused on the property. The function facility was our destination, and once that we arrived we had the choice of leaving our jackets in a small porch structure which we decided to not use. A wood fireplace is central to the function area, with a small bar to one side. The Bartender was asked as to the capacity of the facility, to which he responded "either 175 or 200". Our group of 25 had the run of the place, on a Friday evening. We started with hot chocolate, available from airpots by the bar, with a number of toppings. The beverage was not very hot, so most of the toppings did not dissolve in the beverage. On the other hand, there was a moderate variety of alcohol beverages to add to the hot chocolate should one desire. After a bit it was announced that a "Mac & Cheese Martini Bar" was available, which consisted of Macaroni and Cheese scooped into large Martini Glasses, with a variety of toppings available, all at room temperature, which cooled down the Mac and Cheese, which was the best thing that we ate, it alone made the experience worthwhile. My suggestion would be that the toppings be labeled as the Server was not very clear on what was in each container and the lighting was not sufficient to determine contents by observation. During this time another Server walked amongst us, at first offering "can-apps" then "can-a-pays". They we're tasty. We next were given a tour of the Winery operation, which was interesting and informed us that they started out doing one bottle at a time and explained the evolution of their wine making, with emphasis on the fact that they are learning as they go. It is a very homespun operation, which adds a bit of charm. What followed was a wine tasting of a variety of their wines, the selection was broad and hit a variety of taste profiles. Then it was on to the meal. First we were offered a salad, which was a small bowl with a very small amount of salad stuff inside a circle formed by a few slices of thin sliced cucumber. The Server was very intrusive, making certain that we were aware that she was going to serve the female members of our group first. We had been given the choice of Asiago stuffed Chicken breast or Filet Mignon with Bacon wrapped Scallops. My Wife and I ordered the Steak combination. I checked out the chicken and noticed that it was obviously dry. The tenderloin steak was prepared to medium, the steak and Scallops had obviously been held for a long period of time between plating and serving. There was a reduced sauce on the steak, rather than enhancing the taste profile the sauce overpowered the rest of the plate. Also on the plate were three small steamed potatoes and long beans, presented as "haricot vert", the beans appeared to have not been cooked, were very tough, and tasteless, except for a very strong presence of garlic in a covering sauce. My expectation of "haricot vert" is a vegetable that is tender with a pleasant and complex flavor profile. The evening ended with coffee and a variety of tea (bag) choices and Chef prepared Bananas Foster. The Chef seemed to be more focused on getting ice cream into the serving bowls than on the preparation of the sauce. In my training I was taught that an important part of such a cooking presentation, e.g. Chef prepared alcohol infused cooking is the "showmanship", complete with a bit of blue flame, created by dipping the pan to allow the fumes to contact the life flame, and often includes a stream of blue flame from the pan onto the serving dish. During the tour of the Winery the main theme was that the operation is more focused on finding their way, rather than being directed by tradition. The Function room started out to be a storage facility for a car collection, the wine production has been a situation of the blind leading the ignorant, but with an awareness for what is "out there". The food service demonstrated this same concept, they are well meaning and nice people. However, there is a reason that you employ trained and knowledgeable food staff, rather than look at a few pictures and then decide to recreate the meal. My Wife and I ate only a small portion of our meals, and only a spoonful of the dessert. I rated the experience as a three star situation, for the reason that the people were so very nice and well meaning, and, after all, a dining experience is not just about the food on the plate. I would return "tomorrow" haver the same experience, and enjoy the time spent, basically because the people are so very nice. I certainly do not understand how the place has received such high ratings. One could suggest that my visit involved new staff, but my interaction with the staff demonstrated that they have a long history with the operation and are proud of the fact that they are growing and developing as they grow, based on their understanding and evaluation of their performance. This place could be better served by channeling such dedication and excitement and hiring an experienced Chef to guide them to the next level.

Was here last night with a group of friends for the Wine and Beer event and was very impressed. The night started off with brewers handing out beers that they have made along with appetizers on the side. The wine tasting was downstairs and was very pleased. I tried the strawberry wine and blackberry and will buy those for sure! The meals then came out along with beer and wine pairings. The first dish was butternut squash soup with a butternut squash chip and pumpkin seeds on top. The second dish was lamb lollipops with a delicious pesto sauce. The third dish was outstanding. Pork tenderloin with an au jus sauce along with asparagus. And finally the pumping cheesecake with an apple outer shell and chunks of apple inside with vanilla bean ice cream on the side. The evening was so much fun and the food was just delectable. I will sure be back here again for another event!

The vineyard is definitely a great New England-esque scene. It was busy inside and there was a group of about 6 that were extremely loud and it made the experience a little annoying. The wine tour is less than 10 minutes. I bought a Zinfandel that tasted much more like a Merlot. We were not able to see the upstairs which I guess is one of the The staff was great, very friendly and upbeat. I think it would have been more enjoyable with less people there. For $15 for two people, I would still recommend checking out this spot. Would be great spot for a wedding.

Columbus Day October 13, 2014 a beautiful sunny fall day. Took a ride to Zorvino Winery about 10 miles north if Haverhill Ma. Had Amazon local coupon. For $15 winery tour with 8 wine tastings, 2 souvenir glasses, and $10 off any purchase. Wines were amazing, scenery beautiful. And 2 weddings going on. A very nice afternoon with my wife celebrating our marriage on Colombia Day 2007. This was a great deal for $15 a couple.

We spotted a Groupon for Zorvino while we were visiting Boston, so we decided to take the short drive up to NH to visit. The wine itself was unique, the staff was super sweet, and the quantity of the tastings was amazing. We wound up leaving with three bottles, despite our airline baggage restrictions -- totally worth it. Overall, I completely recommend. The vineyard itself is stunning -- I can easily see why it's such a popular wedding location!Try the Pumpkin wine -- so unusual and yet amazing!

We had a Groupon coupon voucher for a tour, and had a wonderful time at this winery, and sampled some very fine wines. Well worth a visit and a nice place to bring a picnic lunch.

Although the grounds and hall itself was beautiful, the meal was average and the bartender was very rude. The service staff was just ok. I would expect superior service in an industry where service is the ultimate product. I would not recommend Zorvino's for your special day. I felt they were over priced and lacked focus on the customer.

First of our New Hampshire wine tasting tour. Being the first, we definitely have something's to learn about wines. The staff was more then welcoming, they had a vast knowledge of the wines they make, the grapes they grow on premises to the grapes they import from California and Italy.Their facility is very nice with a function area for weddings. A definite winery to visit if it's you first winery or if you have many under your belt.

We parked our bicycles in the lot on a Sunday morning, took a beautiful 25 mile ride and ended up at Zorvino. We had a voucher from Couptopia that was 50% off so it only cost $15. It included a wine tasting for two, two complimentary wine glasses, a tour and $10 off our purchase. However, everyone else that was there without a voucher also got a free tour and a free wine tasting. It was not worth buying the voucher. That said, the grounds are very nice. Our server Steph? was pleasant and knowledgeable. She also gave us the tour. The red and white wines were OK. The Camerere made from grapes from Chile was the best red. The fruit wines and blends were the biggest surprise. We loved the fortified pumpkin wine, the blackberry/grape wine, the rhubarb/strawberry wine and several others. Neither of us are huge fruit wine fans but these were fun! We'll be back with friends but no voucher next time.

Visited during an AARP tour. Although busy, we were able to take part in the wine tastingright away on our Sunday visit. Service was excellent, and the staff was knowledgeable about the very good wines. Unlike what a prior rater stated, the wine tasting experience is free daily (perhaps this is a recent change), and we were provided with about nine or ten different samples. We bought a case for 10% off. Their Blueberry Wine was superb. Worth the free visit.
