We took the 4 day Lodore trip over Labor Day. This was definitely the trip of a lifetime!! I would highly recommend this to everyone. The service was phenomenal, and our expert guides were wonderful. They provided incredible meals and we never went hungry. Amazing how much food and equipment they can fit on the rafts. The scenery was beautiful, we saw more wildlife than we ever imagined we would, and the hikes and campsites were amazing. It is not big big whitewater, which was perfect for us. So, any age can enjoy this. I would do this again in a heartbeat!!

I went on the 4 day Green River trip with a few friends and it was one of the best trips I have ever taken. The guides were really professional, fun and I felt totally safe in their hands the entire trip. They provided amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. It was such a unique and fun way to spend 4 days. Both relaxing and full of adventure. I would definitely book another trip with Dinosaur River Expeditions!

This was an awesome trip. We were brand new to rafting and had a fantastic time. The guides, the food, the arrangements were so great, we felt like royalty being treated to a wonderful adventure. The rafting options were excellent with time to just sit and be "driven" as well as paddling ourselves in "duckies" -- the inflatable kayaks. The hikes were truly icing on the cake to a great four days on the river. Great for singles, couples or families. I'm thinking of treating my 78 year old mother to some form of a raft trip next year. The guides were superb and knowledgable about the area--really made the trip for my geology centered son.

Just did the 4 day/3 night trip on the Green. For the past 20+ years I have done lots of river kayaking in southern MO and wilderness canoe trips in Canada but had never done white water rafting. It has been on the top of my bucket list for years. This trip exceeded my expectations in every way. The guides (Josh, Brett and Sean) clearly rate in the top tier of guides I have ever dealt with. They were professional in every sense - very safety conscious, knowledgeabe of the area, accommodating of eveybody's needs and entertaining. They were great in their dealings with the two teenage girls on our trip. Very patient and informative in teaching them how to handle the duckies. The meals they prepared were great and if anybody went hungry it was their own fault. The scenery was off the chart spectacular and the rapids a blast. Only complaint my wife had was the guides never conjured up a black bear for her to see. If you have ever thought about doing white water rafting I'd highly recommend this trip and more importantly this outfitter. We are already talking to friends/family about going with us when we do it (hopefully) next summer.

A group of four of us took the 4 day / 3 night Gates of Lodore trip with DRE and had a fabulous time that exceeded our expectations. A bucket list celebration for one of the group’s 60th birthday was an excellent excuse to join him and his wife. My two pre-teen girls were quite disappointed after seeing our pictures that they didn’t go along as well, especially after seeing that our group had a 12 and 16 year go along. I guess I’ll have to come back in a year or so and take them with me.As expected the scenery along the Green River was awesome in the true sense of the word as opposed to how my kids use the term. The rapids were terrific too, especially in the inflatable kayak, Duckies. The DRE guides were skilled, knowledgeable and fun. The food they prepared was excellent. There were the special, unexpected moments too: star gazing into the wee hours of the night; coming upon a harem of seven Bighorn Sheep ewes with a ram on a hike through Jones Hole Canyon and the complete double rainbow at the Island Park Campsite. The Jolly Floatman of the Confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers.

If you like rafting you have to take the 4 day trip. Great scenery and wildlife along the river. Lots of rapids. Their guides were the best.

We just got off the raft on the Green River and can't wait to do it again. The company is very attentive to your needs and the rental equipment was clean! I needed a gluten-free diet and the guides were very cautious about cross contamination. We had a great time in the rafts and the kayaks were the best. We also hiked to the waterfall for a quick rinse off. We met some great people on the trip, too. The worst part of the trip was when it ended and we had to return to our busy lives. Plan to do the trip again, next year.

My adult family and 6 year old grandson did a 4 day 3 night rafting trip down the green river! It was fantastic, full of adventure, hiking, great food, and wonderful people. The guides were patient, kind and helpful. They even accommodated my gluten free eating! We had so much fun. It was for my sons 40th birthday.

Each year our company invites all of our employees and their families to a Utah Activity/Attraction. This year we did the half day Green River 7 Miles Rafting Trip. I was the person in charge of arranging this for our employee's. Dinosaur River Expeditions (Ty and Jen) were so great to work with. They were so helpful and accommodating for our large group. We had adults, children, people who had experience and those that had never been on a river before and the guides were so good to each and every one of us. The information the guides provided to us about the area as we floated down the river was amazing. We stopped along the river for a lunch that our guides provided for us...it was yummy. As the organizer, I had so many great compliments and not ONE complaint. Everyone wants to do this trip again. I highly recommend Dinosaur River Expeditions! Go...you will have a great time.

We went on the 4 day 3 night rafting trip down the Green River July 6th (2014) and it was most excellent! Tyler and Jan, the owners, are friendly, helpful, and want to you have a great experience. Much of DRE's procedures (menus and food, dry bags, readily available water) are very much like other raft companies- so rest assured that they have every aspect of the trip figured out. If you take time to look around their website, you will find a wealth of information to guide you. The river guides are a blast and they will see that you get anything you request. They had many fun things for us to do around the camp fire at night- some were absolutely hilarious. There are parts of the Green River that are flat water- never a raft company's fault- that gives you time to take in the beauty of the area. One more thing about the owners- I found myself in a glitch where the internet marketing company had sold me 1 trip but the trip had sold out before the 2nd trip (my husband and I) I purchased went through :-( I called Jan and bingo! We had the trip for 2 at the same rate as the marketers quoted. They are really wonderful people and you will enjoy your trip. We plan to return next year to take the trip down the Yampa River. PS- Ladies, I suggest bringing a wide mouth cup so you can "pee" in the night without having to go down to the river. :-)

I can't imagine a better trip : incredible scenery/geology, one of the more remote areas of the country where everyone must unplug and unwind, super refreshing river that wasn't too cold like some alpine environments, pristine campgrounds with beautiful sand beaches, whitewater fun for all ages, gorgeous desert climate, a bunch of historical significance, and last but most definitely not least: great people!Everyone from the owners to the people on the river are genuinely devoted to working hard with a smile to ensure you have a great experience. The guides were really awesome: fun, knowledgable, safe, and happy.Very cool that they offer a better discount for children (versus their competitors)...it's a phenomenal family play (provided you aren't vehemently opposed to camping.)We were very glad we did the four day (versus the three day).

Friends and I booked this trip. We were given little information about what to bring and wear, when we tried to contact the company the morning of our trip we could not get through.Upon arrival we had to pay the remainder of our trip cost (less $25 deposits) and the company didn't have change for those of us that paid cash! Then we were told we should have brought water and sent to a gas station across the street, we did not end up needing this water. Some people brought their own coolers and the company put them on the rafts for them.Once at the location and all checked in and waivers signed, there is a 30+ minute drive to the put-in location. On the way there the guides give you lots of information about local hiking areas and attractions. Once at the put in location that is your last chance to use the bathrooms! This led to me not drinking any water during our lunch stop. The lunch is very rustic, but lots is provided (except for seats!).After lunch, the trip goes very quickly and before you know it you are done! But luckily, there are bathrooms at this area. If you are considering booking the easy rapids, don't, it is hardly rapids at all. Being in the kayaks makes it slightly more fun, but I would suggest just booking the next up trip. Dry bags are available to store your valuables, although you really don't need to bring anything other than a waterproof camera. Life vests are provided, and a safety talk is given. Helmets were not provided (or needed) on our trip.

I don't know where to even begin. It was absolutely fabulous. The BEST guides ever (they were absolutely amazing), scenery that was breathtaking, hikes that were great, food that was awesome, and rapids that were wonderful. We'll definitely do it again. This company was very professional, making sure everyone was safe and having a great time. This is a fantastic vacation for a family, couple or single. Would like to do another trip this year, but for sure next year. Jerri Kay
