Incredible to have miles of safe bike and walking paths. My wife and I LOVE riding our bikes on the Cherry Creek Bike Path. The great weather thus far in February is such a bonus to be outdoors.

Whether you run, bike, stroll or roller blade, this is a fun path to explore. Full of people in the summer, but not too much that you can't enjoy your activities. *Tip for bikers - start and end at confluence park. The trail has a slight incline going southeast so your return trip is downhill.

This bike path one of the main arteries of Denver's bike path system. You can ride from downtown southeast to the Cherry Creek shopping district and on to Cherry Creek Reservoir, or north along the Platte River past the stock yards, and from there west toward Golden along a couple of routes, seeing Denver along the way. I particularly like riding along Cherry Creek to Confluence Park and stopping at the REI Store for shopping or coffee.It's a busy thoroughfare, so pay attention to pedestrians and other cyclists.

The Cherry Creek bike path is actually one of the reasons I purchased my home. It travels through the city of Denver to Cherry Creek State Park, down south to Chatfield State Park, and connects to the Platte and other river/creek systems all the way to Golden.

Miles and miles of paved road to ride or run, all without being directly on the street. If you are looking to experience what it really means to live in Denver, go rent a BCycle and go ride on this path (easily accessible up and down Speer), and head over to Denver Beer Co or another awesome brewery in the area.I take this all the time from Washington Park down to the heart of Denver (you will be on city streets once you are downtown as a heads up). It is pretty safe if you are from out of town looking for a place to run, but you always have to be aware of course. If it is a Saturday/Sunday it will be heavily populated (and watch out for unaware parents not watching their unaware kids on bikes...) You can take this trail all the way to the Cherry Creek reservoir to REI in the Highlands and further. For cyclists and runners - there are not a lot/if any facilities or water options along the way, you will have to jump off the path if needed.

This path is well travelled, but not overly so, which makes it safe but not frustrating. I personally LOVE being next to water, so I really like this path. I also like that it is a fair distance and crosses through different areas. When I walk it, I usually walk in the Cherry Creek area, but it goes downtown as well to Franktown. 40 miles longReally a treasure, and one of the reasons Denver is a great place to live.

We always take an opportunity to ride this trail and use the B Bike. We often choose to stay on Colorado Blvd and pick up the bikes in Cherry Creek and ride to Downtown. A perfect urban cycling experience.

I live on my bike in Minneapolis, where the paths are marked and people know the rules of riding on paths. Denver is a horrible bike city. The traffic rarely yields, and, while there are more bike lanes now, it is dangerous and not at all bike friendly. That extends to the paths, including the Cherry Creek Path. Road bikers sail by at 25 mph on a path with people riding coasters at 8 mph on the left. It is not at all clearly marked, so unclear where to go and how to get there. I generally am faster than the crowd and balk at bikers being picked up for speeding, but something must be done on this path to stop the road bikers (and I am one) from riding at reckless speed. Also something must be done to teach other, newer bikers, the rules of the road. At busy times, this path is chaos and a danger for all.

One of the best amenities in Denver parks systems. Watch-out for speedy bikes. You could be for a surprise at some of the blind curves. They need to add more mirrors and more signs

Fantastic bike path. Well maintained. Long enough and connected to various other paths in the city. My friend and I ride over 100 miles a week in the Eastern US, and the trails in and around Denver are amazing. You can do some serious enjoyable riding here and never get bored.Genuinely loved it! Can't wait to return with my wife!Easy to get lost, so grab a map!

If you are downtown find the Cherry Creek bike path and take a hike in either direction for a great afternoon of fun. Since the path is below street level its an amazingly noise free in city zone!

Denver must have about the best cycling infrastructure in the country, and this is just one more example. It's a rare week that I'm not on this path at some point, pedaling along.
