The gf and I took a Friday trip so we could see the Cartier exhibit and it was soooo worth it. Just all of the history so many amazing pieces throughout the century its honestly surprising they could come up with these pieces. There was a lot of great contemporary art in the north America wing as well.

i went to see the Impressionist exhibition, which turned out to be poor, 15 pictures mostly from the B group of Impressionists, but the permanent collections and some other temporary shows where so much more worth visiting that I ran out of time. I'll be back

The Cartier exhibition is really worth seeing. Well put together with plenty to see, but it was busy and a bit off scramble at some exhibits. The museum was interesting as much for the architecture of the fantastic building as for the exhibits. The main building exhibits we found more interesting than the North building.

Beautiful building design,lovely place to wander and absorb beauty,especially when they have featured special collection. Great bistros around to eat in too!

I loved this museum. I visited during the "1968" display. What a memorable trip that was. Several staffers around to provide information and suggestions.A beautiful building with an interesting assortment of showings.Handicap friendly with wheel chairs available for use.

Spent a few hours here. Contrast of original building with the newer Daniel Libeskind addition is in itself interesting. Varied collections. I especially enjoyed the exhibit of Native American art, as well the quilts on display. I was very impressed by the water colors of William Mathews.

Highly recommend to visit during th he week if you can, no lines and not crowded. Staff is super - friendly and knowledgeable, can speak on subject matter and make recommendations based on interests and were customer service friendly. Many interactive stations keep the hands-on people happy. GREAT VISIT!

From the easy parking to the quality of the exhibits to the fine dining, all of us in our family were very pleased.We occasionally took a break to go outside to let the children climb on the metal sculpture in the plaza. We practiced our manners in Palettes restaurant. We spent a lot of time in all three gift shops, and received great service from the staffs there.Family Backpacks are available, and it seems like each floor has an activity for children to do.Most excellent!

The Jewelry exhibit was world class. Vey crowded and claustrophobic, not good if you don’t like close quarters. One woman asked us if the jewelry was real! After the exhibit, we toured the rest of the museum and found some art that appealed to us and some that didn’t. If it wasn’t for the Cartier Jewelry, we probably wouldn't have gone.

A great and comprehensive show of Cartier! Love the museum and easy access. Took th 16th Street free bus and walked three blocks.vEasy!

This sculpture, for which the Museum has time lapse photography of its creation, is simply magnificent.

There were so many really weird displays that I have a hard time remembering the few that I did like! There are a lot of nice areas for children with quite a few fun & creative activities for them to do. They also have a really nice restaurant and several gift shops.

This museum is architecturally striking and its collections good. Especially worth the visit are the native American collections.

If you like pre-Columbian artifacts you should see the huge exhibit in the museum just across the street using the over-street walkway. The artifacts are placed according to location and time line. This is probably one of the best in the country.

Excellent museum with special exhibit of Cartier diamond. Spent do much time there didn't have time to see anything else other than the shop!
