Located under the Hells Gate Bridge, this an amazing park with a pool. I've been going there for years. Not at all crowded and near a great little homestyle greek bistro with several bars close by.

This park it's great!! Specially in summer they have free movie night and festivals, but most of all the view and the pool in summer. I'm not too much of a winter person but it's beautiful when snows. Great for walks and work out.

This park in Astoria has the best view of the city & the 59th Bridge. It all looks magnificent from this Astoria Park. The grass is so green & well kept. U want 2 stay there for hours. Nothing 2 dislike. It is one of the best parks in the city.

I mean what an amazing park- Skate Park, Track, Bike Path, Old Bocce Court that needs a reno, history, ice cream trucks, baseketball courts, tennis courts, spectacular views to Manhattan and up to Hells Gate Bridge, and oh yeah TREES- Place is super green! The great lawn is an awesome place for a picnic and the po po isn't too strict on checking if people are drinking wine on the lawn so get on that. It's a great place to go during the day, after dinner, or whenever to just walk. I love this park. It's brought me a bunch of happiness and I am so happy it's in Astoria. Tons of wedding pics and prom pics are taken here too btw- and 30 rock filmed a few episodes here- boom, sold.

i a a native Astorian so I grew up in this park. I just love hanging out by the river looking atManhattan skyline. Also, if you look down, you will see an amazing amount of beach glass along the shore. The park has had many movies and t.v. Shows filmed at this location. A great place to have a picnic on a sunny Sunday afternoon

We have been walking there with friends, and we love the green space, the happy families with kids spending the day there, we like the river view to Manhattan.

This is an amazing park in Queens!! With a nice view of the city across the river. My favorite time to come to the park is Spring and Summer especially in the summertime with their movie night every Monday & concert every Thursday night. I can't wait to spend my summer at the Astoria Park.

This is a great park! The pool is the largest in the east coast and possibly in the US. Many activities for all ages from babies to elderly. All season fun from swimming during the summer to slide on the snowy hills during the winter. Also it is next to east river. great views! There is also a truck if you are an exercise fanatic that stays open till late. skate board facilities, play ground and did I mentioned trees? Lots of them. nice relaxing place in the middle of NYC.

Not the cleanest atmosphere but there is plenty of room to get some exercise on the running track / basketball courts, picnic with friends or go for a stroll with a nice view of Manhattan across the river. Occasional free movies, carnivals and live music also provide a nice opportunity to enjoy what Astoria has to offer.

Having a concert and Fireworks at night is at good as it gets to celebrate the Fourth of July. Bring along a picnic and join the crowd. You'll be in for a treat!!!!!

Great views of the city big pool, fountains for the kids and of course there is always a Mister Softee truck there :)

We attended a wedding in this park. Right next to us was a birthday party and next to that was an Aztec Dance gathering.One group cooperated by taking a break during the ceremony. The other group did not - they got louder on purpose.

Spent many afternoons watching the boats/frfreighters. Gyros and ice coffee closeby. Can get crowded but great views. Long lunchhour great hiding place

Don't pass by Astoria Park, especially in the summer. There are great concerts in the evenings and the view of the East River and the passing boats is something not to be missed. There is also a nice track for running or walking. Just be careful of the kids on bikes and skateboards who can sometimes be a nuisance.For parents with kids, there is a good playground which can sometimes be overcrowded.As someone who lives in Astoria, I do have one request... please clean up your garbage and don't litter. The park can be as clean and beautiful as we make it!
