we discovered this gem as we were strolling down the beach, a bustling bar full of atmosphere. live music is common here and was entertaining. The bar munchies we had were quite good as well

We were excited for Sunday BBQ on our first day in San Pedro (Sunday), but didn't realize that a lot of the BBQ places listed in our book quit serving BBQ in the early evening (around 5 or 6). So, when we were looking for BBQ Sunday for dinner, we were worried we wouldn't find anyone serving it! Luckily, when walking back from another resturante (who had quit serving BBQ), we found Crazy Canuck's beach bar and saw they were still grilling! We ordered 2 plates or grilled lobster, sat up on the deck, and looked down on the bar where there was a live rock-cover band and a lot of people mingling and drinking. San Pedro differs so much from the Cayo region (laid back, rustic) and overall has more of a "party" vibe. Crazy Canucks fit right into that vibe, with a lot of Americans and Canadians filling the bar - some tourists and some who now live on the island. It's not a bad thing, but it definitly wasn't a local experience. Our lobster was excellent, and our waiter told us he told them to grill us each 2 tails since the only tails left were the smaller lobsters, which was so thoughtful! The food arrived quickly and was great and hot! Good stop if looking for Sunday BBQ and don't mind the crowd, band, and lots of drinking.

Good location, and owner Rob is nice and funny, but his wife and the staff are kind of surly, and really don't make you feel welcomed...

We discovered Crazy Canucks on one of our last days on the island and wish we found it earlier. Everyone at the bar (patrons as well as the bartender/owner) were very friendly, had lots of great advise, and the drinks were good and fairly priced. Great location on the beach with a nice breeze. We will definitely be back if/when we return to San Pedro!

a bit of a local hangout but nice and the owner is usually around. Danced and drank the local beer. Closed a little early but the crowd was small

Sunday afternoons there's live music, horseshoes and a great crowd! It's where all the Canadians are at! I was in town playing music and was thrilled to sit in with the band! What fun! Good local peeps!

Lots of locals go to this bar and every time we walked in people were having fun. Kevin, the bartender, is surprisingly fun/funny and makes a good drink for a reasonable price. But what I love about the place is how charitable Rob and Christa (the owners) are. Every Friday night is a team trivia competition and Rob is the hilarious host. It costs for teams to enter, but the entry fees and donations go to help the ACES school on the island. I highly recommend this event. The kareoke afterwards is pretty awful but funny. The second trivia night we were there, they were aldo taking donations to help a local fisherman who had lost his boat. Great people. Live band on Sunday Funday. Give it a try.

The drinks were affordable and well made. The live music is great. Don't miss the reggae night and Sunday Funday!

Just don't get the Blue Hole (gross, 99.9% alcohol and impossible to enjoy). The San Pedro tea doesn't fool around but it is drinkable. The barman makes his own coconut cream so order the pina coladas right away!!! It is delicious. Wear bug spray. Since it is right on the beach, mosquitoes are in full force.

Crazy Canucks is such a fun & friendly bar. The bartender Kevin is really cool, the drinks are reasonable, & the horseshoe pits are a plus. The best times to go are Sunday Funday, & Monday night Live Reggae Music, "Small world, BIG Love"! If you go to San Pedro, you have to go to Crazy Canucks, its the best all around bar on the island.

Hopefully the owners keep an eye on these reviews and will pick up on the growing post trend here about their UNFRIENDLY, UNWELCOMING and RUDE bartending staff. What gives Canucks? You have a great location... awesome music and events... yet your staff continually, time after time, purely alienates customers! I don't care if customers are locals or tourists... they are still all customers and your staff repeatedly treats tourists as being unwelcome and irritating to them! I really honestly love this place but just can't hang out here anymore... it's honestly too painful to watch!Get a grip and get control of YOUR bar back before your staff drives you out of business! I'd hate to see this happen as you have a great thing going here. Hopefully someone is listening! For me to write a entire review about how poorly your staff represents you I hope you get the message that it is truly a serious and embarrassing problem.

I visited Crazy Canucks during Lobster Fest as their bar was part of the Lobster "Crawl". The bartenders look as if you're bothering them when you order a drink or food. I did have Coconut Lobster Bites which were very good but the service is severely lacking. They were almost rude at times. Most people waited to get their passport stamped for the crawl & left because the employees were so distracted leaning on the posts & ignoring us that it just felt like we were not welcome. Won't be back, there are much better beach bars in San Pedro.

avoid at all costs unless you're just there for beer and music on the beach. these folks cannot prepare a decent sandwich.

This place is a must go to on Sunday's. They have horseshoes, live music and great drinks and food. Owners and staff very friendly. We spent our whole day here. Wish we would have made it back a few times during our stay.

Sunday afternoons is the time to be at this bar. The live band Coverups plays grea old rock & roll while you canplathorse shoes on the beach. Many expats show up here Ono Sunday. The food is typical Canadian pub food and they make a great Caesar. Other days it isa laid back atmosphere goodto watch the day go by n the beach.
