On the way back to Tuguegarao we stopped at Iguig. From the highway it is an uphill walk to the Church. The Church is old but the fron has been renovated but the back and sides have been not. Beside the Church is a giant statue of Christ and at the side is the entrance to the Calvary Hills. When you enter the gate you will be left in awe at the stunning views. Sprawled at an area of 12 hectares are life size depictions of the stations of the cross and its backdrop is the cagayan river.A must see place and should not be missed.

We visited Iguig Calvary after Callao Caves because it was recommended by the staff of our hotel. It wasn't as good as an attraction as Callao cave but it's a good sidetrip if you visit during the Holy Week. The place is a Holy Attraction than an amusement park. It can get really hot during mid day.

Very solemn area to reflect and meditate.One can appreciate the "Station of the Cross" that are spread over the hills with a magnificent Cagayan River and the breathtaking rural scenery as background.Highly Recommended!

This place features the stations of the cross. Those who would like to ponder and meditate will like to take a leisurely walk around the place.

The place is both amazing and divine. Amazing being on top of the hill facing a magnificent view of nature and divine for the place itself surrounded by religious items representing the Stations of the Cross that are larger than I am. Its a good place to reflect and meditate. I went to this place in June so it was windy and I enjoyed the cool air. There was no one manning the place but a sign at the entrance requests guests to donate P20 (optional) for its maintenance and we happily gave more.

The scenery is breath taking, ideal for Holy Week activities. Nice view of Cagayan River. Stations of the Cross are far from one another. The back of the church is more beautiful than the facade, resembles a foreign scenery. It is used by the locals as photo shoot place.

This is a very good place for prayers and contemplation. It is a top a hill overlooking a beautiful landscape of the expansive plains and floodplains of Cagayan River. The experience in this site strengthens one's faith in the Almighty and His wonderful creations.
