This review is directed at the store portion. Yahoo! After a long winters wait I finally was able to get some beautiful honey. Nothing beats the local honey. Amazing selection from raw honey to spreads. Best part is the tasting bar. That's right, try before you buy. I can't say enough great things. I also can't wait until the whole property is open. Our whole family enjoys this great attraction.

The honey products from here are second to none. Many different varieties. The tour is well worth it for all ages.Beware the bathrooms offer an eerie surprise. Our grandkids love the play and exercise area. Imagine all this and no electronics for them to play with. They still loved it. Make sure to go when there are no tour busses. Don't forget they are not open on Sundays.

Clovermead offers fun for kids, an eclectic store and many varieties of honey and bee products. The outdoor farm area offers hours of fun and education that will entertain both children and the young at heart hours of fun.

If your looking for something fun and different for your little ones, check this place out. They have all sorts of stuff for them to do. They have animals to look at, wagon rides around the farm, a bouncy pad, and much more. My youngest is 4 and loves it there, my other 2 boys are 11-17. They have out grown the activities there. They also have a food venue, so you can eat while in park

We stopped by this place in the Fall of 2011.It was off season and the seemed only to be keeping the lights on before the winter season arrived. That said, everything was clean and organized, the property was well maintained and the gift shop was clean and attended by a single staff member. The most important part, of course, was the honey, of which we bought a number of super delicious products, plus we had some free flavour samples at the little honey bar they have. The following year we ordered honey from here for our wedding as guest gifts.Definitely pay this place a visit whether with a family, couple or on your own.

We try and get out to Clovermead at least once every summer with our grandchildren!! There is so much for them to learn, and things to play on, and animals to feed, that we're never at a lose for something to do! The favorite thing to play on is the bouncy pillow; our grandchildren are 6 and 4, but there are children of all ages playing on it! Feeding the climbing goats is also a favorite thing to do! Bring your own picnic lunch, and eat at one of the picnic tables or try eating at the little diner; the prices are very good!! Although it is a working farm, it is very clean, and very well taken care of! I would recommend any one with children to stop in, and see what it's all about; you'll be very happy you did!!!

Clovermead was awesome for small and big kids. Swings, animal farm, bumper karts, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin cannons, ziplining ( on a small scale) train ride made like a bee, Hay rides etc... Liked the samples of all the different kinds of honey to try before you purchased. There was even a living colony behind glass in the wall in the washroom. Our granddaughter was very interested in all of it and had lots of fun. Would definitely go again.

I love visiting clover mead for several reasons. First, they're not a static attraction. One visit we are there for honey fest, the next is pumpkin fest, or bee beard and its the same location but each time you take away something different. It's also great for every age. My 5 year old learns something new every time we are there and has many opportunities to wear himself out. My one year old is amused by the petting zoo and scenario and its a nice clean environment where I am able to let him walk beside me without worrying about him bending down and picking up something yucky. Finally, its calm!! Which is so incredibly nice for a family attraction. Its a large property and the different areas are well spaced so you're not rubbing shoulders with people or overwhelmed with noise.Anyway! Thats my opinion! :)

We first visited Clovermead in mid August and enjoyed it so much, we returned 2 weeks later. It was a great learning experience for my 4 grandsons ages 2-9. This is a real working farm with goats, sheep, cows, chickens, ducks, turkeys and of course the bees. Although it is not very big, we spent almost 6 hours there on our second visit. We had a wagon ride and the little ones had a train ride of sorts. My 5 year old grandson liked the "bouncy pillow" the best and i must have watched him on it for over 2 hours. My 9 year old grandson liked the bikes (on a trail) the best. They have lots of play equipment, sand boxes and a water area to cool off if you go on a hot day. You are welcome to bring your own lunch, snacks etc. as there are many picnic tables in the shade, or grab lunch from the take out diner at extremely reasonable prices! Kids could eat and drink for less than $5.00. As a special treat, there is ice cream. We had the opportunity to meet the owner on our second trip and he was so interested in our thoughts and opinions on everything. All the staff (a lot are family i think) go out of their way to ensure a great experience and are available to answer any questions and really interact with the kids. On our first trip we visited the bees and the bee keeper was there to explain what is involved in the honey making process and we learned how bees live together and work together. It was very informative for both kids and adults. The regular price for everyone over age 2, is $9.00 for the day but if you buy tickets on line, use the code "facebook fan" and you can get them for $7.50. What a bargain for what you get! There is ample free parking and there is a store where you can purchase bee products along with many other items that are made on the farm. We are thinking of buying the annual pass for $40.00 as we would like to return to see the pumpkin launch in October. Guaranteed your kids will love it here and it is very affordable.

This is a well run, incredibly fun, truly adventurous place to explore, learn and play. We spent 5 hours in there and were not bored at any point! Our 4 year old was running, jumping, biking, ziplining, sliding and pretending she was a farmer and a beekeeper. What a great experience for kids! I highly recommend it!

We went on a road trip and planned to visit all the places on the "Back Roading Elgin" map. Unforunately, several places were NOT open EVEN although they advertise they are open all year... if you are a tourist attraction, you need to open 7 days a week, particularly during peak season July and August!!

We were two Grandmas with three Grand children ages 7 to 14 on a day trip,it was so much fun for all of us,we were kids again, even we Grandmas went on the zip line and pedal go karts.Well worth the price of admission and we will be going again, also I don't think I have been anywhere else where ALL the staff were so friendly and helpful.I think there is something for everyone at Clovermead from learning about bees, the activities, the animals, tractor rides and lots more.See you in the fall and thank you for a wonderful day.

Had no idea what to expect and LOVED it! There was so much to do. I have three girls 6 and under and we spent three hours there and could have stayed longer but it was closing. Went on a week day and there was no waiting and the kids could repeat the places they loved like the zip line and bouncy pad. Would go back again!

Had a stay in London and thought we'd check out family activities. Came across this that morning and it turned out to be the highlight of our day! Well worth the $40 for our family. From the animals to the ton of activities, play structures, rope swings, mazes, tractor rides, giant bouncy balloon, interesting bee stuff... This place far exceeded our hopes for the day and we ended up being some of the last people in the place. We were there on a Thursday afternoon which probably helped a lot, but we could probably go back another day and still have a ton of fun with our 6 years and under kids.
