Strawberry picking in season. The fall is the best when they have corn maze, pumpkin field and hay rides pulled by a "train" engine. Pick out a pumpkin from the field, take home a jar of homemade jam etcetera. 35 minutes from Toronto ( maybe combine with a visit to Sharon Temple)

Overall it was a great day out at this pumpkin farm. My only negative is that it just seems so expensive. $12.50 admission plus food & drink (no outside food & drinks allowed inside). After a dozen small donuts $6 and 2 orders of French fries $5ea and a couple cans of pop, my $20 cash money ran out. Good thing the kids and hubby were ok with just that til after we left. I understand they need to make money though and I suppose it costs just about as much if we were to go to the movies or something. The kids LOVED the bouncing balloon and the train was cool. We enjoyed the wagon ride out to the pumpkins but wished the strollers were asked to be folded up or left at the pickup location til they got back. They took up so much room and hard to get around. Kind of dangerous. We didn't see the mascot guy, which would've been fun. The pumpkin canons were fun to watch. Wish the corn cob blasters weren't something you had to pay for. It was a very cold day, so we missed a lot of stuff. What we saw was fun and we enjoyed our day.

Left without buying anything. An older staff member (perhaps an owner?) was aggressive rude to us. Won't be going back.

We were visiting our son in Uxbridge and they took us over to Brooks farms. What a wonderful place to take children. This place has it all. We took the train ride and our grandson went through a ton of stuff. The food was great there although a little pricey.

We love Brooks Farms! There is something for everyone to do at the farm. Each season brings new experiences whether it is the Maple Forest and fresh pancakes, pig races during the fall festival or the super popular Easter Egg Hunt (highly recommended!!!). Each year the farm adds a new attraction keeping things fun and fresh, we love the splash pad which is their latest addition. The sandbox is my son's favorite, it is huge and covered which we like for those super hot days. My teenage daughter and her friends could spend hours on the bouncy pillow. For me, I love the chip truck and all the delicious food the farm has to offer, can't wait for strawberry season next year and for the yummy apples. I hear this year that they are bringing in different kinds of soup to try which I can't wait for! Definitely an attraction not to miss and you could easily spend an entire day there! Make sure to get out there and pick a pumpkin!

Thank you for your review and for taking the time to come out and enjoy our farm. Just to clarify a few of your concerns, our train runs all day long in a continuous loop on the weekends, giving you the opportunity to ride it once or ride it 100+ times. Sometimes when we have a large group booked in we will choose a time to designate a ride specifically for them. This is a courtesy service often extended to special needs groups or those requiring special assistance. This takes the train out of rotation for approx 12 minutes. In regards to outside food, we do provide a large picnic area located just outside our main gates for families wishing to bring a picnic lunch. The older gentleman who introduces our Cannon Show, is perhaps just a little behind when it comes to technology. He's a family member who volunteers his time singing and performing for our small visitors (grandpa hub sing-along). We will be sure to explain to him that often people use their phones as cameras. I hope you can find the humour in this =) As I honestly believe it's just a generational misunderstanding. And lastly my deepest apologies that our Corn Cob Blasters were not up and running for our first weekend. Unfortunately the corn needed for this attraction was delayed this year due to the weather. We would be more than happy to have your family out for another day of fun at Brooks Farms now that the blasters are up and running. Free of charge of course. We are just a small family run business who absolutely put customer service first. To the point where we'll often find customers lounging on our porch or back deck of our private home (which is located on the property). Let us know what we can do to make it up to you !!

Hi Jeff, Thanks for your review. We strive really hard to provide a value packed fun filled day at our farm. Although we do charge admission for adults (much like all other farms, the Zoo, Wonderland, Science Centre, Movie Theatres etc..) we do keep our admission prices low and some guests come at 9am and stay til 5pm. Admission is also FREE for kids 2 and under and there is NO Charge for parking. We agree that porto-potties are not fun, however, not being connected to town septic - we've been working for years to get the permits in place to build our own. It's a work in progress =) As parents of 2 small kids of our own, my husband and I work 24/7 building an imaginative playland that is both educational and fun. When you come to a farm - you'll find you pay a "fair" price for produce, unlike the grocery stores who do not make their money from produce / but rather from all the shelved items throughout the store. You are also given the opportunity to pick your own, allowing you to enjoy fresh produce that has not travelled weeks to get to your local grocer. Reviews like yours give us an opportunity to improve and grow, so we do appreciate your feedback. Thanks kindly,Kelly Brooks - Co-Owner Brooks Farms.

We enjoyed our little day trip out to Brooks Farm. The nice thing about this location, is that there is fun for the older kids, as well. There are zip lines, a bouncy inflatable, corn maze, farm animals to view, lots of spots to sit and food trucks, as well as play areas for the young ones. For the $8 flat fee for entrance (i think), it was well worth it for the kids to pick their poison and knock themselves out for a couple of hours.

My son is only 4 months old, so we didnt bother entering the theme/kids section but It looked like the other kids were having fun and will be back in the future. We picked a bunch of fresh raspberries and blackberries, which my wife and I enjoyed!

This is the perfect place to go what with farm animals, a huge jumping pillow, zip lines and water sprinkler and more. Bring your picnic basket, lots of tables and on way out buy some fresh vegetables, fruit or their baking. We just returned home with some of their strawberries....yummy. Can't wait for raspberries

Perfect for a family with young children. Found it a bit pricey especially if you wanted to buy food.

We usually go every year at my wife's request with my 2 young children. The kids always have lots of fun and I enjoy the time there too. The staff always put on a good show. The pumpkin canon is a lot of fun to watch and the actors do a great job during the show. We've picked pumpkins here a few times. There are so many activities for the little ones and the chip truck is good too. The price is really a bit much for a family of 4. It was just under $50 for the four of us. I think it should be a bit cheaper.

This is great value only 40 minutes from downtown Toronto. Pumpkin cannons, hay rides, train rides, jumping pillow, farm animals, hay pyramid, zip lines, corn maze, and even zombies all keep the kids super busy. This is a full day for under $50 for a family of four. Well worth the trip for an authentic fun farm experience. They tell me maple sugar fest in the Spring is also an educational and fun experience. My kids love it and they are 9 and 10.

We went two families with kids 8-9yrs old. $12 pp, the only other thing you had to pay for is food. The kids had fun all day - farm animals - you can't really pet them ( this may be a regular activity some other days of the year, but you can watch and feed them (through decline feeding panel).Hay stacked mazes are big hit with kids, train rides are ok. The staff put their heart into the shows - the pig race, pumpkin cannon are awesome! Food is ok, recommend the chili - otherwise it's hot dogs, peameal on a bun, fries etc. Then inflated huge pillow jumping, zip line rides and more hay mazes :-) Lastly you can buy local honey, and awesome pies. Four stars only because the petting animal farms are not really, and I wish there were healthier food options ( outside food is not allowed, but there is seating area outside if you bring your own). Oh and they have pick your own raspberries , apples etc ;-)

Brooks Farms is a great place for a family day trip. Lots to see and do especially in the Fall for pumpkins.
