The gardens are absolutely beautiful. A bit small inside compared to other wineries, but comfortable. Very nice area to sit & enjoy your wine & cheese platter - very well worth it. Excellent, different cheeses to try & buy! Check their site for events during the summer/fall season & attend one that appeals to you. We went for Firepit Friday & very much enjoyed it - different & unique. Good selection of wines, including ice wine.

Took visiting friends on a wine tour, with Stoney Ridge being our 2nd winery of the day. Located directly on #8 Hwy in Vineland, the setting of this winery is absolutely gorgeous. The property has won many awards for their landscaping. They have several conversation areas set up among the the landscaping. A comfortable place to sit and enjoy the scenery along with some great tasting wine and even a cheese board to go along with the wine. Inside the tasting room, they offer a variety of cheesea for tasting and for purchase. We thoroughly enjoyed this winery and would highly recommend you stop here on your Niagara wine tour. There is a charge for tasting, but it is waived with a purchase.

It is terrible that we have passed by this winery so many times and this is our first visit. It was a joy to walk through the manicured garden. For a start, the wines are wonderful. Then, there are the cheeses. This was our introduction to chocolate fudge cheddar. Well. Now, there is a special experience. It was memorable.We were a group of six and this visit wrapped up our wine tour for the day. It was the perfect ending. More than impressive.

It is a beautiful winery, very nicely located with a view of vineyard and all the way to Lake Ontario on a sunny day. Excellent tasting center with variety of things to buy

My wife and I stopped by to check this place out and loved it! We had some of the pinot and Chardonnay and a plate of amazing cheese from their cheese shop. Great outdoor patio, nice grounds, cant go wrong!

We stumbled upon Stoney Ridge winery while searching for a map of the wine area. We were met by a lovely young woman, wish I could remember her name, who introduced us to the regional characters of the wines grown on the "bench". This charming facility also has a cheese section of exotic cheeses from Europe as well as Canada, the ones we tasted were outstanding. I have been searching for a "wine cooler" in the form of a very thick plastic bag, as seen in France a few years ago......they were in stock in many colours! I was delighted with the entire experience and will return next visit to the area.

We were INVITED through our B&B hostess for a wine and cheese at this winery on Wednesday night which I believe the winery will do for the remainder of the summer. NO price was mentioned before hand . As we headed to accept a glass of wine to have with the different morsels of cheeses displayed, we were asked "$5 please and would you like to pay now for more wine later? "Surprise and shock. Very badly done!. WE would have gladly put each $5 in a discreet donation box even paid too (which we did) but please put the price up front and not surprise your GUESTS with demanding money after they had the glass in hand...very GAUCHE...the cheeses were complimentary and nice to taste but since we had a bad taste from the reception we didn't bother to buy any...nor did we feel like invited guests .

My husband and I went to a few wineries for a rare Sunday afternoon kid-free. As a return guest, Stoney Ridge was first on our list! We sampled some wines at the tasting bar, and selected a few to enjoy ourside on one of the patios. We ordered one of their cheese sampling and meat board, and spend about an hour on the patio nibbling and chatting and sipping. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend. (I've been before for a friends birthday stop, as well as a girls day out, and its been lovely each and every time!) Don't miss this spot, if you like wine & cheese!

We were taken here on our return from a trip to Niagara by our friend who lives not far away. This was our first visit to a Canadian winery and we were very pleasantly surprised. The setting and ambience of the winery was excellent and felt very European. We purchase a selection of wine and enjoyed a taste later at home. It was excellent!

We came here in the winter so we were not able to enjoy the beautifulness of the property. We will have to come back in summer to experience the landscaping. No matter when you come though, they will have wine tasting! I thank the staff working that answered all of our questions. You were very helpful and educating! We especially enjoyed the classic chardonnay and cranberry ice wine which will go perfect on Thanksgiving!

I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely the gardens and overall landscaping at the main entrance of the winery is. Very mature and well kept, quaint at the same time. Their main building is intimate as well with a small gift shop, restrooms and upper tasting bar. I wrote in my title that the Cab Franc is fantastic and it was, and I am not normally a fan of that varietal. It won me over and the pairing of cheese was perfect. It was a very fine line between what I loved more as both were equally enjoyable. Great spot to spend an hour or two, and be sure to bring your camera...

It's a beautiful property with well kept grounds. Very photogenic no doubt. Did the wine and cheese tasting. We fell in love with a few samples of cheese partnered with wine, so we ended up with wine & cheese to go. What I really appreciate about this place is they not only let you taste the wine but the tasting comes with different types of flavored cheese as well. Have I said enough cheese already?:) It was pouring rain by the time we're done so we didn't get to tour the grounds, though.

Take a camera along and wonder through the garden area after enjoying a taste of the wines. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about their wines.

Lovely courtyard decor outside the winery, the wines are elegant! And the staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

we enjoyed the service the grounds were pretty, and the cheese superb I will let my wine mature, a little more, however the tasting was delish!!!
