Tunnel Mountain Drive是离班夫镇不远的一座山，高度不到2000米。很多当地人喜欢去这里爬山锻炼。我把车开到半山腰再往上爬，半小时登顶。俯瞰班夫镇全貌静静流淌的弓河

meh it gets me to the beautiful hotels so i dont care haha. The sidewalk that has its own little lights for nightime is kindof cool, although i dont know who wants to walk it, pretty far!

Loved the new red Andirondack chairs along the walk. The view was spectacular. Someone had placed some hearts and cupids along the way for Valentine's Day!

No tunnel through the mountain, only a name given when tunnel was planned long ago. Nothing special to see on this drive.

Went with a friend to check out the look out points. There is one spot with two red wooden lawn chairs looking to the mountains and it is so picturesque and beautiful that it makes going there worth it.

Great drive - definately do this if you are in Banff. Take your time keep a look out and you are bound to see wildlife eg elk, deer, etc Have got some of my best pics of wildlife along this road.

Half way in this loop, there is a view point and short hiking trail to view the bow valley and hoodoo. It is very scenic and only about 15 minute hiking on very good paved trail. You will be rewarded with beautiful view of the bow valley and the mountain view.

I never ever thought about how trains get over/around the mountains and this was an eye opener as well as a nice drive into BC.

Coniferous trees lined the snow laden road. I loved the elk that randomly walked across the road! Clean, with never a piece of garbage, the people really preserve the goodness of banff! Endless hiking, and walking through valleys and trails keep you busy the whole time!

Nice views, accessible, nice lookout that are accessible even for limited mobility. Definitely a classic.

We took a tour and drove up Tunnel Mountain, Not many people this time of year so it was nice and peaceful. We had the luck to see a couple of mule deer. One was a buck, he only had one horn, but he was close to the SUV we were able to take some amazing pictures.

If you can, get there before sunrise and see the most beautiful of sunrises and colors. Gets you to Kananaskis if I'm not mistaken.

We took the Tunnel Mountain Drive and were privileged to see a wide assortment of wildlife (mostly elk). Our kids were excited to see such a large herd of animals sitting and enjoying the sunshine. We got some amazing photos of animals and the mountains. The drive itself is short, so, take the opportunity to take it.

Done this every trip to Banff, short little 10-15 drive looking at wildlife and views. We have seen Elk, Deer, and even a Bear in the Summer. Couple nice pull offs with trails to walk by the river too.

If you are in Banff then it is a must to have a drive along Tunnel Mountain Drive. The views of the valley, river, mountains, Banff Springs Hotel are amazing. Well worth it.
