We try to accommodate everyone while at times we cannot, and this unfortunately is a case in point. Mike there are a number of errors of fact in your review that must be addressed,1 the RMS signs all have kilometres on them, this was a cost we incurred to assist visitors,2 on Mondays/Tuesdays we are open by appointment, there is a no.to call on the gate.3 Mike asked whether trout were available I said yes, at no time was it suggested he had to fish and shouting here does not assist.4 when complaining of "travelling around the world to get here" I did refer to our web site, brochures, face book and visitors centres all indicating our location and trading, and,5 at no time was anyone shown the door!I do apologise for not "apologising" for taking a minute to get to the door and, agree the Council road after heavy rains this year is less than ideal. Ours tours are to provide an insite to our sustainable farm practices and all are welcome to fish for their own rainbow trout, have it prepared for them and then BBq on site with salad, and eat.That is as fresh as it gets and all part of our ecotourism nature accreditation

We are disappointed we have not meet your expectations as we try to make all visits worthwhile. We do point out that we do offer tours of the farm and only provide our "mud maps" to those not wanting a tour rather wishing to show themselves around. We also have available a number of brochures at the entrance about the farm which are available to all visitors and from a stand the map would have been taken from.As for the water Stoney Creek which is our source is a tributary of the Snowy River and is not treated or filtered considered inappropriate rather suitable to the trout provided we assist with maintaining oxygen levels as we do.Our visitors testimonials on our web site and face book speak for themselves on the farm.All this does not excuse the unfortunate experience in this case and if you wish to come back we will provide a full tour of the farm to explain the its operation.

Hi, access involves a 3 kilometre dirt road which we work with council to maintain. We also encourage people to try and fish in our lake while many do not have the time a catch there can be well worth if time is available for this.We do provide instruction and hopefully some helpful hints, but if additional instruction is required an enquiry will sure further assistance will be given.,Overall in our second year with visitor numbers approaching 5,000 for every two people who visit a fish leaves and we think this is positive.As always we welcome comment and feedback to improve our service.

We wish to confirm we do offer fresh trout for sale, we will catch and clean and prepare to order. Trout can be seen on tours when feeding occurs, during hot summer days it is more difficult as the trout have a strong preference for the cold and will tend to stay on the bottom of our ponds.We also charge a general entry fee for non fishing visitors as they also have full use of farm facilities at their disposal.We are continually trying to improve our services and say thanks for the comments hopefully we have addressed any concerns.
