Friday nights out at AME are a must for anyone traveling the Far North. Good tucker and cheap drinks. Live band and even a couple of bulls! See you next Friday!

Half the family did the 4x4 trail riders and the other horse riding. The dad found the 4x4 a little bit tedious, the 12yr old boy loved it, 10 year old girl hated it as she was scared. I didn't mind the horse ride, and my son (7) enjoyed it but found it a little boring. As with all adventures this 2 hour experince cost us over $600.We came back to days later for dinner and to watch the rodeo. Dinner was excellent value, BBQ meat, 3 types of salads and dessert. $20 adult, $15 for the 12 and 10yr olds and $5 for the 7 yr old. Rodeo was fascinating, bulls appeared to be mostly treated well, saw one man using the electric cow prodder a bit much, otherwise very exciting.

Having almost no horse-riding experience Tam was incredible patient and encouraging. This is "real-ish" horse-riding, in the sense that the horses do more or less obey your commands (rather than just following the leader) and the rainforest is drop-dead gorgeous. Was great fun, highly recommend.

This is a great venue. Friday nights are great with transfers from Port Dougla and Mossman. Cheap food and drinks with music make for a great night out. Why not use this venue for your next party, Xmas, birthday or just for fun.

We got picked up from our accommodation by one of the staff from AME. Everyone seemed really friendly & welcoming. We got a run-through of the how's & do's with the Quad & set on our way with our guide Matt. Great experience, a good laugh & Matt seemed to know all the best parts & routes to take, the nooks & crannies of the area. Having some wet weather the day before made for a better and messier experience! Definitely worth the money, I'd go back again for sure. And the other couple who did the horse riding experience loved it too. Great spot & pity we weren't around for one of their weekly Friday shows. RnR, Irish couple from Brisbane

I stayed in Port Douglas for a work conference and went quadbiking with 3 work colleagues at the Aussie Muster Experience. We had a blast for over 2hrs of muddy filthy fun with our guide Matt. The bikes were awesome, clean to start with (!) and Matty took us on a great tour through the wilderness, creeks, muddy pools and grasslands. We had a great time and arrived safely back. A great experience and great guides in Matt and Tam and the crew. Congrats to all and thanks for looking after us.Pete.

Such a fun way to see the Aussie outback meet the rainforest in Northern QLD. Dad, my brother (16) and I (18) jumped on the quad bikes and were lucky enough to be the only ones on tour, which meant we could rip through the terrain at our own pace, (slowed down by myself of course). After testing out the bikes on easy terrain we moved into the more difficult and challenging areas into the rainforest - riding through the creek in the rainforest was my absolute favourite! Special thanks to our funny and friendly guides Matt and Clive who were more than happy to take photos for us, helped us when we were bogged and stuck and for making sure we went home very muddy! We came back for the show on that night which featured a BBQ buffet dinner - absolute value for money, and the show was fantastic - bull rides and a glimpse of staff breaking in a wild brumby - fascinating! Definitely the highlight of my holiday.

Visited Daintree Station with my wife to undertake the horse riding experience. I had no experience riding horses and wife in show jumping. Suitable horses were selection and some quick tuition and we right to go.Started easy through cleared areas to adjust to the horse but then gradually more challenging.Unbelievable views the whole way before going into the rainforest on narrow tracks and over more challenging and interesting terrain. A fantastic way to see the fauna and different areas of the daintree on horseback.Guide friendly as were all the staff.

What a wonderful day in the daintree rainforest setting. We did horse riding in the morning and quad biking on the afternoon with a lovely bbq lunch inbetween. Would recommend to everyone. Our guides were so friendly.A great day trip from port douglas. My daughter is considering this as her wedding venue as the venue has such beautiful views and a real rustic cowboy theme. You have to see it to understand how well it works.

WORST SHOW EVER! We coughed up money to come & see this show & was apparently highly recommended? said it would go for 3hrs....well went for 1,5hrs if that.I wont be recommending it to anyone anytime soon. We got there & where greeted by some nice people on horse back & then sat down to listen to some fella sing some songs(pretty ordinary), the show kicked off with a few little things & then lunch was on.BBQ Buffett was on the menu....what BBQ & what Buffett? half a sausage, half a piece of BBQ Rump steak you buy from Coles & smallest piece of breast chicken I have ever seen. I turned to the missus and said "I wonder if there feeding us before the show" but wait......that was it....no Buffett by the time you went for 2nds they had cleared it all up.In general is was a piss poor show. I have been out in the country a lot & it was nothing like what its really like. just a few wannabe's trying to run a show like Outback Spectacular. Will never ever suggest this tour/experience to anyone & have already told a few people in the town how bad it is before we left & they seemed to agree.SAVE YOUR PENNIES GO ON A CROC ADVENTURE

This is a unique way to see a sample Aussie muster by fair-dinkum real stockmen/women in the true environment. Grab a drink, nibble a snag, then sit back and enjoy this truly Oz experience and entertainment - it really is top class experience.

We decided to all go quad biking as this was something we would otherwise probably never do (at least not as a family). what started as an idea for 'the boys' and perhaps horse riding for the girls changed into our whole family wanting to try the quad bikes. We booked in advance and unfortunately the lunch muster experience was not running this week (which we probably would have stayed for). We had a friendly welcome by the two ladies on-site and they gave us a discount being a large family (which was a nice and unexpected thing to do.We were the only ones (6 of us) to run in the time-slot so we had the whole tour to ourselves. After being fitted with helmets, we got to test ride around a mini course to get the hang of riding/handling before going into a higher gear. Only our younger son had tried quad biking before but we quickly got the hang of it.The rides started across some easy terrain before heading into bushland with some hills and river crossings, a high speed run across the paddocks before heading into much thicker and more challenging terrain including riding along a creek. Our leader was very helpful whenever one of us got a bit stuck or in taking a picture.we all had so much fun, we were very happy to have made the trip which was about a 35 min drive from Port Douglas. The scenery was beautiful and the course very enjoyable.

Just went quad biking with my fiancé for our anniversary. We have been quad biking a few times on holidays but this has to be the best! We booked the rumble in the jungle quad tour in the afternoon and were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour. We truly ripped it up and were covered in mud by the end! We even got to clean off in the little river/waterfall in the rainforest. Loved every second and our tour guide was really friendly! Thanks guys

We spent the whole afternoon, enjoying the fantastic landscape, quad rides though the mud, the girls went for an exciting horse ride and there was a awesome outback muster show including dinner, too.Was a pity that we didn't bring a tent. They have a great shed with open fireplace, showers etc and a swimming hole. Next time again!!!!
