I must confess I was disappointed with the Museum, not just for the lack of content, but also the lack of imagination that went behind the exhibition. The location is great, the museum was built before its time and has an interesting external design that blends well with the surroundings, but that is about it. Considering the wealth of talent and creativity that abound in Cali the museum is a dismal distraction. Perhaps one day they will find someone who is able to recognise and make use of what could so easily be an excellent venue.

If you're Spanish is limited, you might find this boring; and if you don't like modern art you definitely won't like it. But if you do like modern art, its small, easy to get to, other good shops around it, so it's worth a pop in to have a peek.

This is a place to meet and have an intellectual exchange with people looking into something more that just vanalities. Nice location in front of the river.

The museum is great and well recommended. But one of the best things about this place is the films that they have in the evenings. Usually there is a film at 7 p.m. And 9 p.m.. They are always independent films, the ones you don't see at the normal theaters. they usually have a good collection of Spanish language films and European films. This is not Hollywood its independence stuff.

Cali’s Museum of Modern Art is definitely worth a visit. It is comprised of several buildings that house its permanent collection, cinema, and visiting art exhibitions. The permanent collection is displayed on three floors and you will see prints from Andy Warhol, Francis Bacon, and Chuck Close among other international artists. Many Colombian artists are also represented. The museum’s one flaw was its poor lighting. Much of the collection is underlit, and in some cases the lights were not functioning. Photos without flash are allowed. The entrance fee was 4,000 COP.(Just two blocks away from La Tertulia is the winsome public art installation, Gato de Tejada. The dozen or so cats were installed in 1996 and created by artist, Hernando Tejada. The park is well laid out with winding gravel trails amid stands of bamboo alongside a small stream. A great place to stop and reflect on all the art you have just seen is Ventolini’s, an ice cream shop just across the street from Gato de Tejada.)

awesome place located in el penon. this location is near estrato 6 which upper class colombians live in the area. you can walk around the river and enjoy a meal nearby at one of the many places to eat. very hippish and stylish restaurants ,lounges, bars and desert shops. i felt very safe walking around during the daytime and evening. also they are near a small park that opens to starving artists of all creations on sundays. we support handmade culture items,and decided to purchase one item from each vendor. great deals and not made in china.lol.

Llegamos de noche a una obra musical en la parte trasera del museo. Actividad diferente y tambien pueden visitar buenos restaurantes que se encuentran bastante cerca.

Muy buenas exposiciones. Nunca habiamos escuchado de Tejadita, el artista caleno, y nos quedamos muy contentos con el arte en el museo y del artista.

La Tertulia es un espacio que tenemos los caleños para disfrutar de la cultura, del arte y todo lo lindo que nos puede ofrecer el cine y el teatro. Es un espacio abierto para todos y siempre hay diferentes actividades para disfrutar, tanto para niños como adultos.El detalle que no me agrada, es que se ha descuidado en cuánto a seguridad se refiere por lo que a veces resulta peligroso.

Para los que somos amantes del arte moderno es espectacular, muy económico y cuenta con exposiciones rotatorias, de temas diversos, además de una bella cinemateca, es para dedicarle una tarde y noche completa de disfrute artístico

Una bella exposición que permite explorar el arte moderno. La exposición de Hernando Tejada es una muestra increíble del arte Colombiano.

Aunque en el lugar se realizan varias actividades culturales importantes, la colección como museo es precaria o nula, además de que no tiene un tamaño mayor al de una casa grande.de todas formas la zona es muy agradable por el río y los parques y si tiene fortuna, puede que le toque algún festival de los que se celebran allí, como el de Jazz o Danza. Entonces ahí si vale la pena.

Un Espacio para ver exposiciones de artistas que son muy interesantes conocer, el costo de la entrada es voluntaria, y esta en muy buenas condiciones.
