We did the organic wine tour on Emiliana. Very much recommended. They take you to the fields, explain a little about how organic production works vs. Normal wine making and conclude the tour with a taste of red and white wine. Definitely recommend it, also to support the social projects they do.

When we got off our cruise ship in Valparaiso we spent 3 days exploring the city and then headed to Santiago for another 2 days before flying home. Between these 2 cities lie a number of valleys famous for their vineyards and wines and we wanted to see this area. We hired a driver who picked us up in Valparaiso, drove us to the Casablanca Valley, stopped for us to view 2 vineyards and have lunch, and then drove us to our Santiago hotel. This was a perfect way to make the transfer and also sightsee. Our first stop was at Emiliana Organic Vineyard for a tour with our knowledgeable, personable & handsome guide, Diego. The tour was followed by a tasting of 4 wines in their modern and inviting tasting facility. The wines were exceptional. We purchased several. Check out their web-site at: emiliana.cl/wine-tour/ We then carried on to Indomita vineyard where we enjoyed a tasty lunch and a stunning view of the valley from the restaurant terrace high up on the hillside. This was a memorable day and an excursion I would highly recommend.

Great weather and good wines. The people are very friendly and helpful. Bring a hat, it can get very hot and sunny during the day.

A picturesque valley to drive through. It gives you a good insite into the Chilean way of life driving between Santiago and the valley and to see the type of primary produce industry they partake in.

As far as Chilean wine tourism goes, Casablanca is as good as it gets. The wine tourism is not as developed as in other areas in the world but it's still pretty good. Accommodation is limited. Make sure to plan and book in advance.

Loved our day spent in Casablanca! We visited Casa del Bosque (delicious!) and Matetic (beaufitul!). We hired CHRISTIAN THE VAN MAN to take us from Valparaiso to Santiago, with a stop in Casablanca. I STRONGLY recommend hiring Christian to take you! He was a wonderful guide and the transfer + wine was perfect for us! His email address is- christianroymx@hotmail.com

We visited quite a few wineries and highly recommend the area! In the Rosario Valley we visited San Esteban, Errazuriz and Von Siebental Wineries.

The scenery in this valley is wonderful and compares with others we have been to including South Africa and France. There are many vineyards to visit from small family owned to very large. The smaller ones are often the best. Recommend stopping here if you are in the area and have the opportunity.

What a beautiful part of the world the Casablanca Valley is. Beautiful scenery, great wineries (don't miss Veramonte!), lovely country roads. One of Chile's jewels! A great way to spend the day en route from Santiago to Valparaiso.

Our favorite place was El Cuatro. See Cristian there - he gives a great tour of their wine museum describing the old world wine making process. And of course the wine is outstanding.

Veramonte winery was a great visit, everything from the vineyards, the explanation of all their eco-friendly, organic and sustainable practices, the bodega, the restaurant, the food, the store, and the wines... we were very pleased. This visit will be on our map next year.

This is beautiful country. The valley is on the main road between Santiago and Valparaiso. There are many wineries and most of them are open for wine tours and tastings. Some do require reservations especially if you want a tour. They also have websites that you can get information on. Great experience.

We arrived in Santiago and immediately headed to the Casablanca Valley on our way to Valparaiso. Casas del Bosque was our first stop of the trip and we had EXCELLENT lunch on their beautiful patio, accompanied by and exceptional bottle of red wine. Service was meticulous, food was delicious and presentation of it was lovely. I highly recommend booking a lunch here if you are wine tasting in Casablanca Valley or are on your way to Valparaiso.

The Casablanca Valley is beautiful, a shame that I had a bad experience at Indomita Restaurent, but the other places that we visit were breath taken such as VinaMar that is next door to Indomita
