This park offers many different entertainment options including sports fields, an auditorium, a bike path, local lunch booths, a kids park, and a museum (though it was closed for some reason when we went, perhaps it's closed on Tuesdays). While these are nice, most of them cater more towards locals as tourists aren't likely to start a pickup basketball game while here. This location is likely more known to tourists for the view. We were one level away from the very top so perhaps missed out, but what we saw was, while nice, not as good as other options like killi killi or Mi Teleferico. If you have a couple hours to kill, or if you have kids who may enjoy this, then it's worth a quick visit. But otherwise I would pass.

Worth it to Go and have a nice different view of the city- of course the best one is from El Alto and from mi teleferico. The Sky walk is interrupted for construction work, but it is possible to access it walking on the path on the main road and through steps. You have to pay the access But it is cheap. The park is Mostly concrete but full of young couples, and the children area is not beautiful but full of families. The mirador you can access is not the original one, as there are construction work on it. The best option is walk and enjoy the view from the free skywalk.

This is a great 20-30min walk from the central. It's reasonable steep walking so good for getting use to altitude.Amazing views! Was safe and enjoyable. We did this as a morning run during our week in La Paz.

Good view, near a children's museum (not worth going in, but you pay 3Bs to ride a cable car up to the higher view point). About 10-15Bs ride from center.

If you want to have a nice memento of your visit to La Paz, you should have a picture taken with the Illimani mountain in the background. And that's not possible from this Mirador or lookout point. You can see the Illimani if you go to the upper corner on the left, but there is no way to take a picture without cables and/or poles obstructing your view. On the right side you have a nice view of the business district of the city though. This city has so many beautiful views all around, that you don't need to go up to this place, unless your children want to play and you want to sit on a bench and look around.

It's ok, but Kili Kili is much nicer and you can really see how the city is a huge soccer stadium (a taxi driver said this to me..lol)

This is well worth the walk as you get to see a much nicer side to La Paz and also fantastic views of the city and a good view of Illimani. Walk through the park and follow the wooden walkways. At the end there is a children's play park. It's 3.5BOB for an adult to enter (35p) and is well worth it to get the best, unobsured views. Furthermore there is a giant chess board and a giant bumpy slide (we're 30 and it was great...). It's also very peaceful and quiet in the park as there is an admission.

If you want to see beautiful 360 views of LP, I suggest walking through the park and slowly make your way down the elevated walkway. I walked up through the Miraflores neighborhood and came across the entrance to the Mirador, but was very pleased with the views from the bridge that I opted not to spend a couple of bucks to go to the top. In my opinion, the best views are while you walk down the pathway and end up in mercado camacho with local art just as intriguing and beautiful as the natural scenery. Walk up the stairs and find yourself back on the streets of LP by UMSA and El Prado.

The thing is, though the views are impressive from inside the park, they're really no better than they are from outside the entrance, and aside from the playground there's nothing to do inside. The route there is along an unusual winding elevated path, and it's a nice walk

A beautiful spot to take pictures of La Paz and just enjoy the view. You shouldn't plan on spending too much time there because it is really just a photo opportunity.

There were some public work going on when we visited however this place is where you should go for 360 degree views of La Paz.

If you want to take a picture with the city behind you, this is the perfect place to do it! I went with my friends, but there were a lot of couples and families taking pictures, which are surely hangin on their walls now.

We were staying in the heart of La Paz and our relatively short trip to this site took nearly half an hour in really uncontrolled traffic (cars would keep coming to fill up intersetions as the lights turnd red). We arrived at Mirador Laikakota at 12:15pm on a Monday to find it shut!!!! Our resourceful taxi driver pointed to another hill and we went to Mirador Kirikiri - which didn't have all the bells and whistels of laikakota, but it did have a fabulous view and it looked down on Laikakota.

Without a doubt the best view you can get of the World's highest capital.Worth getting up there for sure.

Take a cab up to the mirador, and enjoy a stunning view of La Paz, el alto and the majestic mountains surrounding the spectacular city.
