Technically a pure forest next to the sea side. Good for walks and fresh air. There is a view tower and some atractions for children.

Located approx. 200 meters from the main walking street. A must if you want to see Jurmala and beach from the ``sky`` (there is a watch tower where you can climb up free of charge)

Dzintari park is places 20 km from Riga, so we decided to go there. Interesting place in Jurmala with the sea near it. Recommended

I live in Jurmala, so Im really pleased that we have such a place to go for: a small walk, because the park isn't big, meeting your friends - there are a lot of wooden benchies to sit, play basketball, see Jurmala above the trees (watchtower), spending time with children. I often go there with my 4year old cousin (from time she was born and will go until she will say "no") when I have to babysitt her. There are a tiny park for small children and park for bigger children the coolest atraction are (in this case Im using 'are' just for you reader, even they are not so cool for me anymore because of few times spending on them it's not so interesting). Ok, the coolest atraction is (a) a spider net pyramid, there are different category's of them so every children can enjoy it, (b) bridges - there are net one and rubber one, (c) some small gudgets are fun too. But most of all I go there because of the roller skating - I don't use a skate park were most off all the skaters, but the road one, ONLY for roller skaters. I love the smooth and velvet road and different levels of it like going up and taking sharp turns. But you have to be cautious of small children who are training and people who are just walking or biking. But be warn - on this road it's only alowed to roller skate! But people are people. It's worth to mention that park is made friendly for nature, some roads for walking is few centimetres above ground and made from wood and made through tree's so no trees were cut making this lovely, family friendly and good time spending park.

Provides a barrier to the winds off the Baltic. A pleasant area to walk through with tall conifers and study the bird life.

Very nice place, watch tower gives better understanding of how the city is located (Baltic sea from one side, river from another). a lot of steps but made in a way it is easy to climb. Park was full with families with young kids. Different playgrounds around.

The beach in Jurmala is OK, architecture is interesting but we are not big fans of this and the forest park was the hit of the day in Jurmala. Very well kept place with a lot of attractions for kids and adults, paves for roller-skating and biking, swinging observing tower. It was raining that day but we tried all the outdoor trainers and playground activities - it was fun and free!

Breath the fresh air - mix of sea and forest!! There are even cafes there, you can find an ice cream wagon there too. Roads for bike and rollers.

Dzintari is like a playground in the woods. This is a very well kept place, with a quality play area, a skatepark, good waking and even tiny motor cars for young ones. All surrounded by wonderful birch trees. The kids had a wonderful time: I would definitely go again.

We went to the seaside. Weather let us down - it was not enough to play by the sea - kids got sandy, wind was too cold. We discovered that nice park built in seaside pain forest. Wooden paths through the blackberry plants and huge play grounds. Well done Jurmala for inventing such a fab place. Kids didn't want to leave.

The forest park is quiet and peaceful with good children's facilities and plenty of places to grab some food or a drink
