参加有导游参观的话,看完这个大矿场需要两到三个小时,是很有意思的体验。如果你能给它匀出时间,也对地理有兴趣,而且不怕“深入地底”,那就抓住这个机会吧。从另一方面来说,我个人觉得这有点像给这个矿业集团做宣传的参观。导游人很好的,其实Kiruna的所有人都很友好啦。

要游览矿井,你必须提前预定,还得很幸运地有另外14个人也提前预定了矿井之旅,不然这趟旅行就得取消了。很不幸的是,在我们住宿期间没能去矿井探险。

这个地方令人印象深刻进入地下的这次旅行让人印象深刻,但是......实际的行动不会显示。你可以在录像中看见一些,但是在游客中心的一个房间可以看见一模一样的行动。也许在那时你会觉得身处那个地方很刺激,但是经历并不是直接获得的。像萨拉斯勒如瓦(Sala SIlvergruva)这样的煤矿(也在瑞典)给予我们一种更加“真实”的体验。

这是我们第一次参观矿区,实在是非常棒的体验。这家公司在这里挖矿有140多年的历史了,我们开车过来用了20分钟。导游非常棒,知识很丰富,而且令我们惊奇的是矿区的设施非常齐全,有教室、食堂、博物馆以及很多展示矿区历史的展览,以及铁矿是如何应用到我们的日常生活中的。这里非常干净,而且通风良好,完全不会有你所想象的幽闭感。

我们对于这里很感兴趣,于是就决定前来参观。我们是坐巴士去的,整体的体验非常不错。不过行程本身感觉有点像是LKAB公司的大力广告宣传。尽管如此,价格还是很值的,而且组织得很有序,受益良多。

The tours being offered give you insight into the Kiruna mining history, the mining processes, the technology as well as future direction effecting the town as such. With further exploitation of the mine parts of the town have to move.

Did not realise the importance of the mine before our visit, found it very interesting, how it has & how it will affect Kiruna.

We were excited to see parts of the mine, and learn about how it works. While you do get to go down into the mine and listen to interesting facts, you are limited to a very small tourist-specific area and information as scripted for the guide. Understanding there are safety issues, it could have been fun to have at least more of simulation of what working in the mine is (or was) actually like. It mainly felt like just being in a chilly museum, wearing a hard hat. The guide was alright, but couldn't always be heard, and could answer only very few of the questions from the group. The very first part of the tour is a 15 minute propaganda video about the company, which was pretty hard to stomach, but it got better after that.

The visit is really interesting, and it is really impressive too ! No spoiler so no more details, but if you are in Kiruna you really have to do this ! Quite cheap also, but be careful, only on Monday, Wednesday and friday.

Great tour in English from the City Centre. Informative and just the right length (2hrs). The guide was well briefed and the exhibitions and museum completed the experience.

Very interesting tour, learnt alot about the working mine and their environmental impact and how they strive to get the best iron ore from the mine.

We were really looking forward to the trip to the Iron Ore mine and booked our trip for Boxing day 2014 - a particularly busy time of year for all tours and trips in Kiruna. We waited at the designated place outside the tourist information centre with may other people who had booked. The coach arrived and we waited for a further 20 minutes in temps of -20. We were then told that the trip had been cancelled due to illness of the guide. It seems very poor that over the busiest time of year, the mine were unable to find another guide . We were unable to go the following day as we were due to fly out.

It is presented the history of the mining and it is impressive. It is a big area, and it is a unique chance to be in an iron mine for a couple of hours. The smell is surprisingly nice for being surrounded by iron and kilometers under the surface of earth.

If you are in town this is a must thing that you should do. Why not? You can take a bus in the entrance..it's very interesting.

I have been there for three days on late September this year. The weather is quite warm they said, actually it was 3 degree. -.-I entered the mine to the underground location, it is about kilometres under the surface level. We went down there by car. Surprisingly, the mine area is very clean and there is also a restaurant. Cool!
