We have a wonderful night at Pavarotti & friends December 30th 2014. It was a very busy night, but the great staff still managed to make this an enjoyable night. Go here with friends for some light food and great wine. Prices are also very fair for St. Moritz.

if you want cheep wine for the price of a good one (65franks) with a ridiculous show for snobbish people, this is the place for you. This Italian place will serve you moderate pasta with a fake parmigiano, of course with a smile. They charge 250 franks for a plate of ham and cheese a bottle of cheep wine and 4 pasta. Only a stupid guy will go back to this place.

We stopped in for a glass of wine and stayed for lunch. The place is absolutely charming. Extensive wine list. Freshly shaved prosciutto and a giant wheel of Parmesan. Greeted by the host who loves people and is a Pavarotti look alike. His little dog roams around making friends. We had pasta for lunch. It was delicious. A must see in St. Moritz

Imagine Pavarotti meeting you at the door with a broad smile. This happens here. Of course not the famed tenor but almost. This is a warm place where people talk across tables and socialize. Not ever so in the posh resort of St.Moritz. But at Pavarottis you will enjoy great wine, nice atmosphere and even some food. You won't be disappointed!

We stumbled upon this wine bar in the middle of St Moritz. The atmosphere just couldn't be beat! A Pavarotti "look alike" goes table to table and makes you feel as if you're a local. What a fun place!

While walking around the streets of St. Moritz deciding where to have a drink, my friend spotted Pavarotti & Friends. We were so surprised to walk in and see a Pavarotti look alike! The place was so wonderfully decorated and had a great ambiance. The owner was serving a group seated in the corner and you could tell instantly that this guy loves people. We asked to see a menu but he rhymed off a few items so we ordered a meat/cheese platter and bread which we both enjoyed very much. He brought over a couple of bottles of wine and poured us each a glass and at one point, he was even singing. He was great and definitely very charming. He even brought us over a complimentary bowl of pasta. This would be such a fantastic place to have back home. This guy is the real deal...even if he only looks like Pavarotti!

Easy to find in the center of the village. Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful decoration. We were there twice and the owner (Pavarotti, looks like the real one) was not there. And guess what...seeing him and talking to him is one of the attractions...So where has he been??? There were offers on the blackboard outside the bar, but the waitress had no idea and said they could not offer the wines at the price on the blackboard. There was only a card for the wine bottles but not for the glasses of wine so we ordered 2 different sorts of wine glasses without being able to define the whole further. There is this rumor, what we also saw, that you get a plate with cheese or ham for free. We only got a couple of bruschettas, which is generous alright but I could not understand why everyone else got the nice ham and we the dry bruschetta. Maybe because everybody was speaking italian and we german?? After ordering a second round there was nothing else offered. Price was normal upper Engadin price, not a low one but nothing extreme either. Because of the fantastic atmosphere I am going to give them one more chance...but better they treat us more descent next time.

We were roaming the streets of St Moritz during Christmas week attempting to not fill up on chocolate and looking for that "right" place to eat. We circled around and Pavarotti & Friends caught our eye. It was a delightful experience that I kill to bring home with me. The owner was adorable and charming - yes he looks like Pavarotti! He explained the menu in Italian - pasta & wine. What more does one need? The salami/procuttio, bread, olives and parmesan served first didn't hurt either. Our friend recommended a wonderful wine which turned into two bottles. Great atmosphere, people kept stopping by for wine with friends. Why can't I find this in southern california!?

The owner looks like a younger Pavarotti - hence the name. Great wine bar, with diverse selection of good wines. You are served sliced salami and bread with your wine, so that sitting and chatting with friends becomes all the more enjoyable. The noise level is high especially later on the weekends - but it is a fun way to spend some hours after skiing or hiking.

Siamo meravigliosi ....

Must a San Moritz... Ottimi aperitivi e ottima cantina.. Titolare fenomenale, peccato non passare di qui... Consigliatissimo

Consigliatissimo
