我们自己参观了这个博物馆,用了语音导游来为我们做介绍。博物馆里面陈列得非常好,玩具展览那个区域让我很想认真的一个一个地仔细看那些玩具,但是那样要几个小时时间才能看完!纪念品店也很好,但是如果价格稍微便宜一点就更满意了。

我们去过很多描述北美土著人历史的博物馆,但这座可能是最棒的。展品浅显易懂,而且布置精巧,能让人了解到各个部落的知识和特点。每一位游客都能从手工艺品、照片中了解到一些知识。展品是轮流展出的,所以查查日程看都有什么展品。今年下半年将会有Navajo Code Talker展品。关于Bolo Tie历史的展品也非常有趣——目前正在Sandra Day O'Connor展览厅。我们参观时正好举行hors d'ouvres和红酒的回忆,布置非常精美。另外,北美土著人舞蹈的展出也非常有趣。

我们最近拜访了这家博物馆,也是第一次来。里面收藏了很多美丽的艺术品,比如珠宝、陶器、篮子、衣服等等。里面的展出也一直在轮换,目前的展出包括Geronimo和Bolero民族文化以及印度的学校经历。亚利桑那的所有部落都有呈现,也细解了它们的不同。里面提供很多个不同的线路,都有导游带领参观不同的画廊,这是包含在门票里面的。我们还在里面的咖啡厅吃了午餐,汤和沙拉很不错。你在这儿逗留几个小时甚至一天都不会无聊。

确实是个布置很得体的博物馆。里面比从外面看上去要大的多。展示各种当地印第安人部落的部分非常精彩。唯一的遗憾就是,如果你注意各种展示品上面的日期,会发现有很多都是二十世纪晚期的,还有很多是二十世纪最后二三十年间的物品。我真的很想了解在与西方接触之前印第安人的艺术风格,不过只有几件展览品能体现这点。

If you like southwest art and culture, then this is a museum you will love. From the beautiful grounds and building to the exhibits of native crafts to the story of cochineal and the Indian schools this is a fascinating look at native culture. I think you will love it...

This was a very nice-educational museum dealing with Native Americans and the different cultures. Just missed the cultural event they had on the week-end-will check it out next year. A must see when in Phoenix.

Easy to navigate museum with SW focus. Great courtyard for lunch or a snack. We enjoyed two great exhibits and they change often enough to make the Heard a visit at least twice a year.

A must-see in Phoenix; collections of this calibre hardly exist in other places. You can lunch at their delightful outdoor cafe as well.

This is a great museum. Very educational and informative on Native American life and art. Visited during the museum guild Indian Fair & Market with interesting art from over 600 artists. The museum has beautiful nice building and grounds. With the time to visit.

Happened to visit on the day of the Museum's annual Indian Day fundraiser. Dozens of artists selling their wares from booths on the grounds. We found the Museum Shop (open all year) to be first class as were the items in the permanent collection and the explanations of tribal history.

You could spend days here. There are 2 free tours that give a good overview of the offerings. Take both and then go back to look at the subjects that most interest you.

Both the grounds and the museum are very nice. The museum store is an excellent place to shop for jewelry, etc., which is top quality. One of the largest museum shops we have been in, you could spend a long time just looking around. There is also a very nice café on the grounds. The museum itself has a wonderful collection and is easy to get around in. We will be back!

The Heard Museum is fascinating!! The displays are vibrant and the tours there are very informative.Great for adults as well as family.Lots of info on many tribes including the Hohokums.Will definitely go again---will try to combine the visit with the yearly Indian craft sale in early March.

The Heard Museum's exhibits are educational, beautiful, thought-provoking, and culturally enriching. My visit to the Heard Museum stimulates my desire to further my understanding of the many aspects of Native American culture.
