For a great idea of how Native Americans used to live , this is the place. It's just outside of Williams, exit 171,park across the street in the Oak Hill snow play area , then go through the gate for a short easy hike on a trial clearly marked for cross country skiing with blue markers. It's at the very end of the trail with a registry and a fence to go through. The Petroglyphs are off to the left of the water, they are amazing! You can visit on them on the way home after the Grand Canyon.

I really didn't expect much, but the hike was very easy. We viewed petroglyphs on the walls, but the water fall was dry, due to this time of year. The registry was fun to look at to see who also visited the site. Folks from France and Germany come to mind. So they must spill over from Grand Canyon. Overall was a nice hike at 7:30am and 36 degree weather kept it cool. Great for kids and mature kids as well. We were the only visitors, had the place to ourselves that early in the morning.

I have lived in Williams for 11 years and have never seen the "Kaibab Petroglyphs". To see some petroglyphs in the area, take the Keyhole Sink trail for approx. 1 mile to a small box canyon. You will see drawings depicting a deer hunt. Please don't damage or deface. Deer Farm Rd exit to east on Old Rt 66. Park across the street at the snow play area. Enter the trail thru a small green gate. Keep gate closed. (Open Range) Trail is well marked. A small waterfall is present in the spring. Outhouse restrooms are available near the Snow Play Warming Shed.

I am very disappointed that trip advisor doesn't research the existence of attractions. I came here to find no such petroglyphs. No wonder the viewer didn't see them. Why would someone review something they never saw, anyway. Live and learn.
