I LOVE this store! It is a feast for the eyes and is full of beautiful items, all made from unique pieces of wood. From furniture to small items, such as bookmarks and earrings, everything is made from wood. Even if you don't buy a thing, it is so enjoyable to look at all the amazing creations. One thing I did purchase here is a folding iPad stand which I take travelling and people always ask me where I got it. It works great for holding your iPad upright in your choice of two positions and make typing a lot easier. This store is a delight to browse and you will be glad to stopped!

Very eclectic and interesting art made from wood . The art was varied and beautiful by a variety of artisans. Some most unusual and creative pieces are available. Great selections.

First time back to La Conner in over 20 years and very impressed with The Wood Merchant. No doubt there is a revolving list of artists/craftspersons so we will be visiting this store again. By far the best selection of different wood art we have seen. If you want earrings, they have it……if you want coffee tables, they have it…….and if you want carvings, they have it.

What a selection! The woodworking is beautiful, and service was excellent. Prices seemed reasonable, and there was something for everybody, and everybody's budget. Both an art gallery and a gift shop.

A wonderful selection of crafts, furniture and games made of wood. We purchased a beautiful clock crafted with fused glass, metal and wood. The friendly staff shipped the clock home for us and it arrived as promised.

This shop is filled to the brim with outstanding woodworking from NW artists. From small pieces to huge tables, chairs and chests it's all here - everything you could imagine and then some. We have many pieces purchased here over the years and love them all. The owners are wonderful - friendly and knowledgeable. We visited them quite recently and although our previous visit was a year prior they remembered us! This shop is an absolute must-see when you are anywhere in the area - you will not be disappointed. They truly have something for everyone and allow plenty of time to see it all.

A great store to browse, excellent customer service. I bought a pair of laser cut cherry wood earrings shaped like leaves and lost one on the way home. It's a brand called Willow which does not have an internet presence. I called The Wood Merchant and was able to buy an exact replacement pair based on a picture I sent. They were shipped very promptly.

They have all sorts of things in here, I bought my niece a very delicate set of earrings here this time and some wood oil to protect my bowls and serving trays that is non toxic.

We always enjoy stopping by this shop whenever we visit La Conner. What they sell here is so beautiful and well-designed that it is like visting a museum. Must visit when you are in La Conner.

I was here about 5 years ago. Bought my wife a beatiful jewelry box. All of their merchandise is top quality, and their furtiture is outstanding. Unique designs all hand crafted and I think for the quality very reasonabily priced. Slide the drawers out, look at the shine on the table tops, see the different woods used to make each piece. Honest I don't own the store! I just love it. My wife and I both agree that La Conner has some excellent shops...not the junk that you see many places. Did I mention all the Wood Merchant merchandise is made in the USA?
