We always make time to get to Morts when we are in town. The service is always fantastic. They have a great drink selection and good beer selection. Monday is buy one Martini and get one free night. The name has changed to Morts Martini bar if your trying to look it up. But, It is still the same amazing place! Great outdoor seating and live music!

The moment you start walking to the entrance you'll notice that the doorman will give you an attitude unless you are white! Stay away if you are not part of the welcomed race...sad!

Mort's is sort of an institution in old town wichita. It has the ONLY cool scene, having spent an entire year there I can say so. Live music is happening almost every day/night and the service is outstanding. They have the kind of bartenders and servers that put chain restaurants to shame. They do not serve food but the fresh spicy popcorn is awesome. We love mort's! Business or pleasure

Life is good at morts, outside seating with bands on the pation is the summer months. Martinis are well made so sample a few. Never disappointed!

Mort's is the place. We sat outside with all the heaters blasting.. it was quite cozy... they have a good selection of cigars a little pricy, but I guess that's expected. Fat Tire on Draft... don't get that back east. Didn't have any food, live entertainment was very good. A place to check out...

Their specialty is martinis, but they have a gazillion othe cocktails, plus cigar bar. They have an outdoor area for smoking (it's even heated in winter). The bar itself is tiny, so getting a table can be difficult on busy nights. Service is pretty good, some waitresses better than others. My friends and I go at least once a week, so trust us. This is a great place for an after work drink. I will mention, there isn't a food menu. They have a few appetizers, but nothing fancy.

Have a extensive bar menu, and a large outdoor seating area that is the anchor to there cigar bar. So if some bothers you this is not the place to be, service was very good, drinks were strong but not very inventive. Mostly carry the mainstream martini choices, local spot like this should have a better bartender who can invent his own drinks. Overall its a great spot, and full of locals.

So much fun, wonderful bands, great staff, patrons are fantastic, did I mention the music? How I love to sit outdoors and listens to the Blues? How my husband relishes the idea of being albe to smoke a cigar (and so many to choose from) while being out n about without my saying a word? Its just a perfect place to realx listen to music and maybe even dance a song or tow.

We went here for St. Patrick's Day!!! I can't even begin to tell you how much fun we had. The drinks were great! The music was live. The food was free (That day). We were there for about 3 hours and had an absolutely amazing time!!! This place is THE place to go in Wichita. I want to go back every single time we visit there again!!!

We love Morts! They have a martini menu larger then some small town's phone book! I recommend the Georgia peach (Crown and Peach Schnapps). They also have free flavored popcorn (the spicy popcorn is the best). Only downsides are it can get pretty packed on the weekends and even some weeknights. Also the guys restroom is kinda weird. The men's room has a urinal and a toilet with no dividers or anything for privacy and you can't lock the door, so it's a little "uncomfortable" in there sometimes. I can't speak for the cigar selection since I don't smoke. The smoking section is outside but it's in a heated and covered patio that's actually a bit larger then the inside section.Before you leave get some alien excretion shots. No trip to Mort's is complete without a round of Alien excretion shots (they taste way better then they sound).

Top notch staff, great prices, free popcorn and live music 6 nights a week during summer! Moray night is half price martini night too!!
