For being a statue, I give it 5/5. But there are many more interesting things to see and do in Hannibal. The fact that Mark Twain found inspiration here is way cooler than the silly statue.

The statue of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn was very nice. It was located right at the edge of the downtown area, next to the Mississippi River and across the street from the Mark Train Brewery Restaurant.

The statue is very close to Mark Twain's home. A good place to take a picture. It is right next to the stairs to the lighthouse.

The Tom Sawyer and Huckelberry Finn statues add a nice touch to an already lovely town. It is nestled in among trees and plants in a hillside at the end of the main street in Hannibal. Great place for picture taking.

I could have gazed at this statue for at least 5 minutes. It's free! It was located close to the historic Hannibal area and right by the stairs up to the lighthouse.

You have to see it while you're here, but it's just a statue. Figure ten minutes tops for picture. Nice view from here, though.

We passed this statue on the climb up to the lighthouse. It was a cute place to take a picture and has a great view down main street Hannibal.

The statue is located just a few blocks off the highway and takes only a few minutes to walk to from the street. Tom Sawyer wasn't to be seen with Huck Finn, but here they have been right near Tom's home for 88 years best of friends. Worth the few minutes to see the Frederick Hibbard sculpture. The. You are just a couple of blocks from the Mark Twain visitor center, home and museum plus Huck's and Becky Thatcher's homes. Fun to visit the area!

The statue was great to see in this historic town. The stairway next to the statue also leads to a great view of the downtown and river. A great place to visit!

This just adds a nice touch to the Historic district of Hannibal, MO. It is well done and fits the characters as they are described in Twain's works. Set in a nice park area, with stairs on the left side going up to the remains of the old Mark Twain Bridge and other spectacular views well above the town and river.

The statue which is close to the Mark Twain boyhood home museum is very poignant and should be included with a visit to the Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) statue in Riverview Park which is nearby.

You can see them walking along as pals or buddies would do. Within a block you can "whitewash" Tom's fence for free (Tom would get his buddies to pay him for that opportunity).

Statue is for everyone to see- not hidden with a cost. Interesting and helps keep the ambiance of the town.

We stopped to take a picture. It is all in the central Mark Twain area.Some nice lady stopped to take a picture of us.

Located at the end of the street just up from the home of Mark Twain and at the beginning of the old town. So stop, get some photos and enjoy the the views.
