We stop here every time we are traveling through. Love all the samples of different cheeses. Bathrooms are always very clean and people are very friendly. Prices are good also.

We always stop when traveling through SW Missouri. Highway 13 is an excellent road going from south east of Kansas City (Clinton) to Springfield. There are over 250 kinds of cheese, and you can sample most of them, along with some of the salty, and the sweet snacks they sell too. You can also order via their website www.osceolacheese.com.

Very good! We love the ability to sample the cheese and enjoyed looking around. A must stop when you go through Osceola. Cheese was fair priced for a specialty cheese store and the varieties seemed endless. Yum!

While in Clinton, MO visiting with our kids, they surprised us with a trip to the cheese factory. They have a vast selection of products to taste. Samples are self serve. The hottest one (with ghost peppers)has to be requested. You'll understand why if you try it! My favorite is the Garlic Dill Cheddar Cheese,Curds! As a matter of fact, I've just ordered some more to be shipped to me in California :-)

Every imaginable kind of cheese is found here, AND you can sample all of them! I particularly liked a horseradish cheese. They have lots of other unique snacks and spreads as well. The bathrooms are clean and the employees are friendly. You won't be sorry you took the time to stop.

Heard about this from a friend that said that this is a must stop if you like cheese and are in the area. Great recommendation as they have a ton of different cheeses to sample and to purchase. Different combinations and flavors make them one of a kind.

I am not a cheese fanatic, but this store was kinda neat. A pretty wide selection. The prices were more than I would pay but I guess if you want quality, this is where to come. They also have a small selection of beverages and snacks. Clean bathrooms. There is also a nice gift shop attached with some local paintings and art works. Works stopping to stretch your legs out on long trips. Also a somewhat rundown gas station across the street.

We usually try to stop by here on the way either to or from Branson. We enjoy the cheese samples and the chance to try out some interesting combinations. We really love the Buffalo wing flavored cheese and usually buy it along with some others. If you get a chance, stop in and check it out.

You can sample every one of their cheeses without feeling like you are eating too much. The way this is set up is very comfortable and non-threatening. The cheese is wonderful.

I have been going to this store since a kid. It is wonderful, so many cheeses to sample, amongst other snacks. If you love cheese, you have to go. We always spend a fortune but it is so worth it.

The variety of cheeses!! Oh my! Luckily they have samples that you can try and cheese flavors that you never thought of. Of course, there is the typical, swiss, cheddar, mozzarella, gouda, etc. But you must try the green onion cheese, the chocolate cheese, the pizza cheese (Not just mozzarella) and, dare I say, "Hotter than Hell Ghost Pepper Cheese". This cheese is HOT and the samples aren't available to the public but rather, you must ask for a sample, "behind the counter". This basically keeps the wimps and little kids from getting burned, literally and figuratively. Keeping in mind that travelers come in while on vacation, this store also stocks everything that you would need but forgot to pack. a knife to slice the cheese you just purchased, a large variety of crackers, summer sausage, Burgers Meat Products, jams and jellies, mustards and pickles. Also available are snack items such as mustard pretzel bites, rye chips (just like the ones in a bag of Gardettos) sesame sticks and the like. I highly suggest stopping by on a weekday because weekends tend to be crazy. Especially weekends during mid-November through New Years.

First let me start by saying......this stop is an absolute must for people with and WITHOUT kids!! Not only will you be making memories for your children (trust me, I remember the stop with my parents YEARS ago!!), but you'll be thanking me later, that you stopped for yourself too! Oh, and if you don't get anything else....PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get some of the Garlic Cheese, it is by far the BEST, Most AMAZING cheese EVER!! :) HAPPY CHEESE SHOPPING!!

Before I even start. While everyone is hunched over to the cheese cooler do yourself a favor and get some ice cream. They have many different kinds and it is delicious.My husband and I visited my grandparents over Labor Day weekend and we just did not have any plans one afternoon so my Grandmother suggested we run up to Osceola to the Cheese store. At first I was like okay we can go just to get out of the house up until the moment I walked into the store and saw the hugest arrangement of cheese! We walked up and down the cooler of cheese and tried various samples. We also tried the ghostpepper cheese which you must be a fan of spice to even attempt. It did not get us right at first, but snuck up after a couple of seconds.Cheese is not the only thing you can sample at the store there was summer sausage and other meats as well as different types of popcorns. Pretty much any type of finger food you could imagine this stop offered. My husband also happily purchased pickled eggs. /:Negative - People not utilizing the toothpicks that were available and I was surprised to not see visible signs reminding people to do so.
