Have visited twice over the past 8 years. My daughter and I have been to caves from Kentucky to Montana. This is one of the nicest, well lit, and easiest to walk. The guides are very friendly and good at their job. Not to far from Twin Cities. Planning to take some friends to visit on our way to Mall of America this summer. The town of Harmony has some nice shops also. There are a lot of Amish in the area so plan to stop at roadside stands to purchase homemade jams, jellys and honey.

We spent the weekend trout fishing and exploring Northern Iowa & Southern MN. We stopped for breakfast in Harmony, MN. Then a short drive south of town to Niagara Cave. Pretty cool trip down into a limestone cave. Tour guide was very good (owners son) that explaining how the cave was discovered and form. Owners have done a very good job creating a little place for fun and adventure. Great place for a little family adventure. We did have a little sticker shock but I think it was worth it...

We've been through a fair amount of caves, and I think Niagara might be my favorite. I loved how it had a very "cavey" feel. It's walking on actually cave floor (not sidewalks), it's narrow and low in places, you can look up and see 100 ft cave above you, it's just great. You just really feel like you're the one exploring and discovering this cave. Our guide was great, knew a lot!No bats in this cave, so if that's a concern...no worries!Well kept grounds. We were there in Oct., so we weren't able to take advantage of walking around much, but from what I could tell, this would be fun to come back to.Cute gift shop and pretty reasonably priced. The gift shop is where you get the tickets, there's bathrooms right there to use before you head down. You go to a little room off the front doorway and that's where it begins. You go down a ton of stairs to start out. The wishing well and waterfall are super cool! You'll see a wedding chapel and even the "Titanic". :)It's an out and back trip. Once you hit the end of the tour, the guide tells you to turn around, go back the way you came and he followed us out. You could take your time (within reason), to look around some on the way out and take pictures. I've never seen a cave tour like that, pretty cool!Tons of cool fossils in this cave! Definitely worth the visit and so easy to get to off Hwy. 52!

I just recently found out about this cave. It was pretty impressive. This is a privately owned property. The day (Friday) we went there wasn't any school in Minnesota and our guide was the son of the lady who runs the place. He was a senior in high school. They say that it is only 50 degrees down there but it seemed warmer than that. With all the stairs and walking, I had to take off my jacket and by the time it was over, I was really sweating. I wished that I hadn't taken my jacket in the first place. We went to this great restaurant in Harmony afterwards and they had like 10 different types of pies.

This is nice place one day get away... especially if you are in St.Paul-Minneapolis area. The Cave was formed millions of year! The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Not much of restaurants to speak about in the city. But if you drive little you have quite few restaurants. The temperature dips as you ascend. You may want to carry something warm.

Being inside a cave for the first time was so amazing. We went 200 feet under the earth and there was a 60 ft waterfall inside. Can't get any cooler. Plus the guide was very knowledgeable

We had a wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable and the cave was amazing. You definitely want to have a sweatshirt or jacket as it gets cool and shoes that can get a little dirty, but it is so worth it. Narrow passageways at times which makes it all the more interesting. Don't miss out in seeing this unbelievable natural wonder!

When it comes to seeing things out of the ordinary, Niagara Cave is the place to go!!! Be sure to wear a jacket, even on the hottest summer days because it is much cooler down below. But OH MY, how beautiful and educational this is!!!!!

This massive cave totally blew my mind. It was a great deal and they have a beautiful mini golf course too. Lots of fun for the money.

Group of us older people went for a bike ride to Harmony to tour the cave. Stepped climb was tough, but clearly expected by reading the literature ahead of time. Cool temperature was a relief when 90 outside with equal humidity that day. Formations are not as varied and interesting as expected. Appearance was more blah than good photos illustrate. Is wild to walk through these cracks that have been eroded out. I have never been in a cave before, so this was a good experience for me.

I was very pleased with the tour and cave. Very informative, interesting things to see. It is a bit damp, so wear warm clothing!

Very knowledgeable guides, they provide the history of the discovery of the cave and the formations we saw. It's a 1 mile round trip walk, up and down 250 steps, so be aware of that. And they're not kidding when they tell you it's 48 degrees in there. Luckily for my husband, the gift shop does a brisk (no pun intended) sweatshirt business! Reasonable fee of $14/adult.

My family of 5 and another family of 4 went together and we had a great time. Both families have small children and the kids did just fine. They got a little scared when the tour guide shut off all the lights but it was fun. The admission fee was reasonable in my opinion for such a nice tour and the grounds were beautiful. They have mini golf, a play area, and mining for the kids outside. I would recommend this stop for anyone.

A very cool cave with an interesting history. Knowledgeable tour guides and friendly. Not for those who cannot climb a lot of stairs or have heart issues. While in cave terms this is not very old it still was an interesting tour and worth the time and money. Take a jacket with you as it is 48 degrees year round.

This is a cool cave with an interesting story. It is a young cave so the formations are not that grand, but the waterfall makes up for that. It is amazing. Our guide was great with the kids and very knowledgeable. Cons-- A lot of steps and was pretty physically demanding, also a bit more expensive than expected, $14 for an adult 1 hour tour. ( I believe Mystery cave is $10 and much easier to navigate) We also played the 18 hole mini golf and it was a very fun course, but an easy one. So great for younger children, maybe not so challenging for the professional.
