parrot mountain & gardens

我们一家人刚从TN的Pigeon Forge和Gatlinburg旅行回来。在那期间我们按照惯例去了Parrot Mountain,玩得非常愉快。这里的景点能让人有机会与动物互动(抚摸、抱它们等),这里的经历真是无以伦比。店主Fletcher和Isabel Hollingsworth营造了这个让大家都玩得很愉快的小天堂。另外,整座建筑反映了店主强烈的基督徒价值观和对基督的热爱!!我向来此游玩的家庭游客强烈推荐这里!!Kevin H.

上次我们去烟山玩儿的时候来过这里,非常有趣。上次就只有我和我老公,他觉得这里非常棒。有的评论里面说这里价格比较高,但是如果你把这里和这个区域内的其它景点相比的话,就会发现其实一点都不贵。而且这里的门票钱里面会有一部分用来救助小鸟,这也是为什么你在这里偶尔会看到有一只小鸟状况不是特别好,这就是因为这只小鸟被忽视了,没有被照顾好的原因。这里景色很漂亮,干净,而且旅行的经历非常棒!能够喂小鸟并且把它们捧在手里感觉特别好,我们还拍了很多很棒的照片。

美丽的鸟儿,如果你喜欢的花,他们会停留在你手臂上跟你合照。它在整个陡峭之旅的顶部,很高兴我们坐在一台四轮驱动卡车上。靠近Dollywood的后门。

每年我们都有机会到这里去,鹦鹉山是我们最爱去的地方之一。我很喜欢那儿美丽至极的鸟儿们,举目四望皆是。周围自然风景也很美!没错,这一路都是上山,但到山里玩不就是要这样吗?每次我们去都发现那里有了提升和扩张。我乐意看到它的成长,这是个坐落在山林里的美丽的绿洲,超级超级喜欢!

What a fabulous sanctuary for all too many exotic birds of all breeds! We spend the day there, I did not want to leave. Walking around this beautiful hidden jewel of Pigeon Forge, TN, right up the hill behind Dollywood property. Keep your eyes out for the entrance, just behind Dollywood like I said, but they are not allowed to put a sign on the highway near entrance because of some restrictions place by Dollywood, SHAME ON YOU!!!The owners are just Angels, God sent Angels with hearts of gold. Their days are filled with the hard work of caring for these beauties, educating people young and old about the desperate plight of exotic birds of all breeds. Beautiful, enlightening, educational and heart touching, in their beautiful mountain setting somehow you feel captured by the notion of a perfect world might exist. Then you realize that you are being watched, nature comes alive and you are surrounded by such beauty, you thought you'd never see. Such wonderful and intelligent creatures these birds, yet so delicate and fragile. May I say, they have their hands full and need our support. Anyone that owns an exotic bird will understand and be willing to step up, (speak up) if you will. This mountain is full of deserted pets, left behind due to lack of knowledge and understanding of these gifts of the heavens. With Smiles shining, kind words to all who enter, you will not think they are worn from their loving care of these birds as well as the beautiful Eden they have created for them and us to experience. Yes, you must visit!Feel free to walk around and Praise His Holy Creation. Believers.......stop for a moment and enjoy the open dedication to our Faith, stop in the Prayer Garden and take a long overdue moment to Thank our Creator God for all his wonders.

What a great way to spend the afternoon. The staff is very friendly and informative. There are so many birds to see and interact with. I had to drag my daughter out of the nursery. We really enjoyed our time at Parrot Mountain and would recommend it to anyone visiting Pigeon Forge.

The walk up the hill was some what hard, but it was worth it. I loved all of the birds that were out on their perches just sitting there for you to look at and take pictures. I loved the tomb of Jesus and the garden. It was very special.

My 6 year old loves this place! She already wants to go back. We loved the man with a pocket bird in his pocket. We held it on our finger and it kissed our face. Lots of unique birds that we actually held. They stood on our shoulder and walked across our backs. We also took a family picture with 5 parrots. This was super fun and reasonably priced

This place is a MUST visit! I wanted to go for years and went today with my boyfriend. I truly enjoyed Gods beautiful creation! The birds were beautiful and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and we haven't stopped talking about this place since we left earlier. It's a must see! Carry your family. Im going to carry mine in July.

This is a bird sanctuary with beautiful parrots and other tropical and nontropical birds. You get to be with them and touch them and feed them. The only thing I didn't like about it was the extremely steep mountain to get from the parking area to the entrance. It is an exciting experience.

The setting was magnificent and I am a nature lover so I enjoyed the birds. The birds will perch on your shoulders and hat. I would recommend visitors wear an extra shirt to change into but the place was wonderful and one everyone should experience at least once.

Beautiful location. My two girls loved to feed the birds and interact with them.The grounds were immaculate and birds were all very clean and happy. Great time will visit again!

We first learned of this place on TripAdvisor, and are go- glad we did! It was a terrific experience! The employees were so friendly and attentive, the experiences themselves (pictures, feeding the birds by hand, the bird nursery, the little gardens), all great! Would definitely go again!

We discovered this place on our last visit. The resort we stayed at had a little show with some of their birds. We decided immediately to go the next day. We love the birds there and the beautiful gardens. We fed the lory's and it was amazing. The price is a bargain for all the beautiful and entertaining birds you see. We walked through it twice. My husband had a great time singing with the birds shortly after you enter. The next time we walked by one of them recognized him and immediately started bouncing and squawking to get him to "play" with them again. The food at the grill was very good also. The bird in my photo loved being scratched on the back of the head.

We visited this attraction for the first time last july. We have been to pigeon forge numerous times and went to many attractions. My family left this attraction wishing we had went sooner. My son says it's his favorite attraction ever in pigeon forge. The owner was on site as I hear he is almost every day. The drive up the hill is an attraction unto itself. It's a nail biter but keep going you will be glad you did! The birds were beautiful and lots of handlers on site making sure you have the opportunity to hold them or feed them. All the employees that we interacted with were very knowledgeable and you could tell loved working with the birds. We will definately be back.
