divide ranch & club golf course

My wife and I have been wanting to golf here for a while. Finally got the chance this Friday and loved it. The course is on a ridge above Ridgway Colorado with beautiful view of the mountains. The course winds through Ponderosa Pines and scrub oak, Absolutely beautiful. There are homes scattered in and around the ponderosa pines though out the course but all are far enough away that even an errant shot will not hit any, All the holes seem to be by them selves which made you feel like you had the course to yourself.The fees were very reasonable for a course as nice as this. I hit my first Hole-In-One ever on hole number 8!!! We ordered hot dogs and fries as we made our turn and they had them waiting for us. Probably one of the best $5 meals on a golf course.Give this gem a try if you are in the area.

Enjoyed the drive to get to the course & easy to get there from downtown Ridgway. Winding road and some great views of the surrounding San Juan's. Easy to think you are going the wrong way & that there can't possibly be a golf course this way, but keep going... it's there! There were signs along the way as well confirming that you are headed the right way. Course was beautiful! Again amazing views of the surrounding San Juan's! Challenging course if you've never played it before. A lot of pretty significant dog legs where at times you have NO idea where you are going, but it was still a great time. Challenging enough that we want to play it again now that we have a better idea of the layout of the holes. My only complaint was that we were told that it was a very busy day & that all of the tee times were booked; however, there was no starter. Small groups were teeing off by themselves rather than waiting for the rest of their group which made for a really slow round. This could have been better organized. Other than that we did not have any other difficulties. And we had a really great time once we got going! Would recommend & will play again when we return to the area.
